Thanks Martin for the surprise! New trigger latched and set... 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules. 2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached. 4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them. 5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.) 6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's. 7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post) Enjoy! Admiral Gloval |

I did make a little change. But nothing drastic. It now fits in better with the posters at large. |

OOoer... Worldwide customization?... And into the dark and cool chill oncemore, and the arctic vortex lingers on yet! (Must look up what the jet stream is doing with all this!!) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

We have dark humid chilly but hopefully no frosting up. All is a beautiful lockdown quiet and slumber. Thank you all. Used my desktop to make this new thread. The things I had to remember. Then the relief that I could use my iPhone to help me get going. The desktop was faster going after the technical glitch my aging brain had was resolved. |

Good to see you reconnected and exploring anew! Just back from a day to fix a puncture... Too big for my tyre levers and one week too remote for a call out and not something the nearest garage would fix even if there was anyone there competent on a Sat. Tried the garage anyhow and sure enough there was just the cleaner there who had no idea about any tools even if we could borrow their big tyre levers. My tools failed to pull off the tyre even with help with extra grease around the rim. And then... Revelation! + phone an engineer and... Reposition the jack, remove six bolts, dismantle, voila! Easy! All day just for that!!? Another one to be done Sunday. Will be doing the careful positioning and six bolts trick from the get-go this time round! At least it is sunny and warm and beer helps! (All good fun really!) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |
