Lunch break over. Back to work. Have to go to the front lines and help produce the company’s medical device. |

Snow! We have a snow flurry!! Looks like just the one cloud but, still... Snow!? We also have bright sunshine all around... Are "snowbows" (as opposed to rainbows) possible? See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Thanks for that. Yep, that's typically Scotland! But never seen that optical effect before. Spooky! ... And we have more snow flurries here, and it's sticking around... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well the middle of England started a bit misty, then was gloriously sunny, and for the last few hours we've had snow flurries but no sticking (yet) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Well, we've got it icing freezing out there. Very chilly! Got caught by the gritting wagons twice :-( See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

15yrs and 2 slats broke in my bed, so I am looking at converting my bed frame to a platform bed frame w/o a box spring, some Ikea center beam parts and some 59.87-60.00 inch pine slats and I should be good to go, I'll just need someone's skills here. The actual width of the bed frame is 60.50 inches between the wooden rails. The Ikea parts attach to the head board and foot board with metal brackets and screws. Go steady with the hand saw ;-) There is always "student-style" going on the floor. Even better, you can't fall off! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

There's a fly in the ointment, turns out the head board doesn't go as low as the foot board does, so it means getting creative, a pair of concealed joist hangers for a 2x6 would fix that along with a 2x6 or a 2x8 stud. No hand sawing, I'm not capable of doing the work, though I know someone here who could. My bedposts are 100% wood, so this should work. The head board was not made with a center beam in mind. My back is riddled with arthritis so I can't sleep on the floor, wood or concrete. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Some lubricating oil for the aches and mind your head?... ;-) An extra pair of hands to help is always a good idea for any construction work. Good luck! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

On Wednesday I'm calling the YVFD to bandage my upper left thigh near my ass as it can't form a scab when my jeans or briefs keep pulling against the wound and no I don't how it happened, only that one day recently it became painful to get up and I am leaving some blood where I sit, I have a 1/4 inch spot in my jeans. I'd do this myself, but I can't see or reach there. Thanks. At least I can take pain pills, a friend of mine is at risk of another stroke and can't take any pain pills, at least until the pills are eliminated as a cause of the strokes. Today I managed to print out some forms, though one sheet required some adjustment to print out correctly on the dot matrix printer.
