I really like my CBR-1100XX Super Blackbird (original '86 carby model), unfortunately there's not that many places up here that are good for an extended ride (especially since they brought in speed limits on the open road). Between here & Alice Springs there's not many corners that have to be taken at less than 200km/h, less than half a dozen that can't be done at 140-150km/h.
And there's the wildlife that tends to make things more interesting than they need to be.

Understand the wildlife. I also had to hose off the poo after the encounter.

I almost forgot that I rode a motorcycle too. I bought one of these in 1973 and finally sold it around 2012. I would ride it around job sites on occasion but it did not get much use after the 80's.

My 1st road legal 2 wheeler and it wasn't stock either. In fact I got both my riders and car license on my 17th birthday (they were 2 separate paper licenses back then).

Cheers.

My 1st motor bike was a Honda Twinstar 185, like this one.

After that I owned a 1978 Suzuki GS550E like this one, of course the seat had to be reupholstered and so the seat went from Black to light tan and I started the bike at least once with the kick starter, which was not easy to do.

It's been a long time since I laughed as hard as I did at the fried alien... Great.

The pack of alien eggs is of course from “Weyland-Yutani Corp” including the company logo.

US Asks for Help Finding Missing F-35 Fighter Jet After Crash.

The United States’ military is on the hunt for an F-35 fighter jet that has gone missing following an incident that forced the pilot to eject from the advanced stealth aircraft over South Carolina.

Emergency response teams are trying to find what’s left of the F-35B Lightning II jet, which suffered what the military called a “mishap” on Sunday afternoon, according to social media posts by Joint Base Charleston, an air base in South Carolina. The unidentified pilot ejected safely and was taken to a local hospital in a stable condition.....

I had one run into me while I was driving. On the freeway. Over 70 mph. It was really hard to clean up all the feathers and other parts.

Been there, done that. Exiting tunnel on Italian Autostrada. Found head between front grill and radiator about a week later.

Crows, Currawongs and Magpies are all good for that around here and people look so surprised when they pull up here and some of those birds extricate themselves from the grills of their vehicles.

Cheers.
