Now this is getting out of control.

Neighbours who were furious about two three-storey glass homes being built next door have had a win.

Some people just don't have a clue. :-(

This seems to be a growing problem these days. :-O

Woman’s passport photo looks nothing like her.

So unless you don't want problems at the other end of your journey then look like your passport photo (or better yet, have your passport photo actually look like you). ;-)

Cheers.

Brilliant.
Although these days it's more a case of "I'll be back in 6-18 months to finish the job, if you've got the extra money to cover the increased costs at that time."

If my teenage son did this I probably would ... (fill in the blank)

Viral TikTok shows son covering parents’ kitchen in peanut butter
This kid must be driving his parents nuts.

A viral prankster has gained millions of views on TikTok after posting a video of his parents’ kitchen thoroughly covered in peanut butter.

TikToker Corbin Millet, whose profile consists of multiple videos of him pranking his parents, has gained over 38 million views on his most recent prank.

The video’s caption, “Covering my parents kitchen in peanut butter,” shows a before shot of a normal-looking kitchen, only to have it cut to almost every square inch of the said kitchen — aside from the tile walls — coated in a thick layer of light brown, including the light fixtures and all the appliances.

The 19-year-old from Pennsylvania told the Post he initially pulled off the sticky prank in August, and got 14 million views on the video before his account was banned.

Starters would be the clean up. Just to be nice I would go OCD on him. Then clean a good portion of the rest of the house if he had problems.

Anyone here remember the TV show The Big Bang Theory?
In one show they used a kissing machine as a gag with Raj & Wolowitz. Now a Chinese company has developed one for sale.

I vaguely recall that episode.

Leave it to the Chinese to make more *dumb* things... Especially if they 'connect to your phone or computer'

Ah Giza, the pyramid that keeps on giving.

Scientists discover hidden corridor in Pyramid of Giza through cosmic-ray muon radiography.

A nine metre long corridor has been discovered close to the main entrance of the 4,500-year-old Great Pyramid of Giza, with Egyptian antiquities officials saying it could lead to further findings....
How much more will it real?

Cheers.

Maybe a few beers too many?

Man found paddling in circles on Lake George in boat with sail made from bed sheet and broomstick.

A man whose small boat was spotted in trouble off the shore of a lake just outside Canberra had to be rescued by the NSW State Emergency Service (SES).

According to a Facebook post, witnesses said the boat had a "roughly crafted sail made from a broomstick and a bed sheet".

The man also appeared to have only one oar and be paddling in circles about 2 kilometres off the lake's south-western shore.

A spokesman for the NSW SES said the man took the vessel onto Lake George earlier in the day in calmer weather.

"At 7:30pm last night, the NSW SES received a call for help when a man was found paddling in a small vessel on Lake George," he said....
Cheers.

Now I am feeling old. :-O

Pink Floyd's enigmatic, record-breaking album The Dark Side Of The Moon turns 50.

Few albums are as big as Pink Floyd's 1973 blockbuster The Dark Side Of The Moon.

Estimated to be one of only four albums to have sold over 45 million copies worldwide, it's spent more than 970 weeks, or the equivalent of over 18-and-a-half years, in the Billboard top 200 album charts in the US, which is a record.

Legend has it that a factory was set up in Germany for the express purpose of printing Dark Side Of The Moon CDs in order to keep up with demand.

The album's mythic nature also contributed to the urban legend it was made to synchronise with the 1939 film The Wizard Of Oz.

And despite 50 years of ever-changing musical fads and phases, the album has endured like few others of its era, continuing to sell tens of thousands of copies around the world each week....
Cheers.

Dark Side Of The Moon definitely has that psychedelic genre to it...

I can remember when people were trying to play the album backwards in the 80's and 90's.... Thanks to computer technology someone finally succeeded https://youtube.com/watch?v=0uNGl49ykTI

Years ago when I worked at a university here in the UK, walking past the halls in the evening was to an interesting sound track of Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, various Queen albums. Then it went boring, but recently I visited another university campus and the sound track was Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, various Queen albums. Just shows that great music doesn't die, it just lurks in a corner to come bursting out turned up to at least 11.
