Whatever happened to the 4' (1.2m) between house and fence rule? ‘Very confused’: Shock as Gold Coast dream homes built just 40cm apart.  Now that is totally ridiculous and 1 has to wonder if the council members who approved this had working brains at the time and if so where were those brains? |

I've built hundreds of houses with 4-inch air gaps between them. They look attached. There is a much higher builder liability on attached townhomes. So to avoid it we put air gaps between them. It does take a mindful crew to build in the correct order. Once a wall is done you can't complete the next one. |

Well I'm not surprised at the price as the cost just to get it airworthy will be astronomical. Elvis Presley’s private jet sells at auction for $404,000. It really should've been sold decades ago before it got into such a sad state. Cheers. |

That was an expensive mistake. A NSW man has made a “bloody expensive mistake”, pouring 230 litres of fuel that should have gone into his tank somewhere else. A NSW fisherman has made a “bloody expensive mistake” at the bowser, accidentally filling up his rod holder instead of the fuel tank and wasting 231 litres of petrol.You'd think that a boat owner would know the difference between a rod holder and a filler cap.
