What I do know is that the day Biden got in gasoline went and started its climb towards a 100% increase in price at the pump.

That is probably true, BUT, it is not just a U.S. problem it is happening everywhere.
I paid £1.41 per liter (approx $7/ US gallon) last Friday, same station this morning as I drove past, £1.54. In June last year it was about £1..07.

If you require diesel then there are reports of it being over £2/liter.

In fact oil export/import figures are where the biggest fudges occur with U.S. figures depending on where you get them from.
