I am stunned by the way the lies and mistruths roll off sleepy Joe's tongue. How stupid he and his handlers must think that the American public really is. I suspect that the 75% of the the Country has had just about enough of this destructive agenda and goof-ups. I predict 100 seats in the house in the next election. |

Do you have examples of the lies and mistruths Joe has put forth. I ask, because almost as soon as the previous took office several media outlooks started counting his lies and mistruths*, I've not seen that this year, although I have seen a couple of times that Joe has been taken to task, for his misquotes. *https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/01/24/trumps-false-or-misleading-claims-total-30573-over-four-years/ |

The reason that the Media does not call Biden to task is that it is an arm of the Democratic Party socialist, green, woke, looting, get out of jail agenda To Wit--paraphrasing. "the green agenda is not causing the rise in gasoline prices" "The infra structure bill is paid for; wont cost a dime or raise your taxes" "The withdrawal from Afghanistan was the most successful air lift of all time" "We are returning the illegals to their home countries"--((most are being dumped on American cities) "Inflation will be 2% and will be temporary" If you don't think that these are falsehoods, mistruths, half truths and outright lies then you should do more reading and studying from a more centrist press and Media. |

Lets take the first one, oil price The Countries that export oil have not increased production as fast as required. And a lot of oil tankers are in the wrong places. When demand decreased due to Covid some of these ships couldn't unload, the onshore storage tanks were full, so the ships just anchored in safe places. Bit like public transport being in the wrong place, after a snow storm, so that the next early morning trains and buses cannot run. edit] It takes over 2 months for an oil tanker to sail from the middle east to the USA And have you noticed it's not just oil, Christmas trees, sweaters, gifts in shipping mess: How supply chain issues will affect holiday shopping So this is affecting us all not just the isolationist USA. UK prices are at about their highest ever. Infra structure, something promised by Trump who never delivered, he never had a decent plan to start with. At least Joe has started the infra structure process that is long overdue. Was he talking about withdrawal or air lift? Don't forget Donny was going to do the withdrawal 6 months earlier than Joe. It was Donny that started the ball rolling. There are lots of immigrants around, some days a thousand cross the English channel in small boats Have you seen the news from Poland border You are not the only country with immigration problems. The problem, like always, needs to be solved at source. 2% seems pretty low to me. A quick google got me this quote Inflation Rate in the United States averaged 3.24 percent from 1914 until 2021 I fail to see the points you are trying to make against Joe, I'm not saying the problems aren't there, but most of them are out of his hands they are global. |

I'm interested in exploring the connection between the transport problems you list, and the rising rate of measured inflation. It's often presented as a "Law of Economics" that prices rise when a commodity is scarce. I beg to differ: I think it's a law of human nature. That could be a human being chalking a larger figure on the price slate (think greengrocer in a market), or it could be a computer programmer embedding the standard economic assumption into their pricing algorithm. But either way, the price itself has no volition in the process, contrary to the stated Law of Economics. In reality, it's not as simple as either exposition. The price you pay consists of at least four components: The standard cost of extracting and processing the commodity (unchanged). The increased cost of sourcing the commodity from an alternative source, if the standard source can't supply the demand. The increased cost of transport when both vehicles and human beings are in the wrong place during extended delays - the people, at least, still have to be paid. The increased 'opportunity cost' of increased profits extracted along the chain of supply when purchasers are desperate. In another word, greed. |

The fact is the inflation is caused covid created supply chain bottle necks, it is world wide, Biden did not create it, covid did. Oil prices are cited, lets look at it. When covid hit transportation was reduced dramatically. Fuel use went down and prices dropped. Production was reduced to match the need and many small producers went out of business. Now that many are vacinated travel is back up and demand is up to pre pandemic levels but production is not, in part to the vanished small producers. The oil companies are not charities so they will sell to whoever pays the highest price so we pay the world wide price, Biden did not create this, the free market did. If you think Biden can do someting about it, which he can't, then you don't believe in the free market. |

I agree I was being simplistic about prices and transport problems and I agree a lot of the time the problem has more to do with perception and then going out and panic buying. But here's some news that will go down as a Biden positive. Jobless claims plunge to 199K, lowest level since 1969 |

Will the congressman from the second district of Nebrask, Don [redacted], vote to shut the government down in the coming weeks, or will he vote with Joe? Remember he voted for infrastructure. |

"Inflation will be 2% and will be temporary" The rate of inflation is controlled by the Fed, which is independant from Potus. The inflation is world wide and caused by supply chain disruption, not Biden but by covid. As an aside are you able to cite your source? |

Hunter just published "My Daddy's First 6 Months". In his foreword, he wrote, "No other U.S. president has done slightly more than average as my Daddy has in history, and it's slightly more than average because of the Trumpdemic recovery! PERIOD!!!"
