How paradoxical can political arguments get?

This really does sound like the Republicans have strangled themselves in an incredible impossibly contradictory ideoillogical mess...

See for yourselves:

Fauci CRUSHES "Paradoxical" Republican{s}...
wrote:

That, and the other Republican examples described there, truly are ridiculous and even schizophrenic for changing direction part way through the very same sentence!

Really?!

What strange games are the Republicans playing??

Choose your own random bits from the Bible, isolated and out of context, to scream what free toys are demanded?

Now if Fow-chi and his boys would quit playing games and re-release the J&J vaccine, I could reschedule my appointment and get my shot..................

Take a look for yourself. Truly prestigious for the good of everyone:

Dr. Anthony Fauci's Profiles, Awards, and Honors

Now... Can that even be compared to the overweight overbellicose rambling draft dodger with dodgy toes that goes Trump?

Anthony has nothing to do with it, it is all Donnie's appointees at FDA/CDC who will deny in every pyrrhic attempt to score points for the GOP.

It's an Italian surname, not Asian.

It's an Italian surname, not Asian.

That's debatable. As it originally from Sicily.

Does Sicily have a dramatically different history of language development apart from the rest of Italy? One so dramatically different that Fauci should be Fow-Chi instead? Or, is it more likely that Fow-Chi was typed as a slur?

Given that Italy only became the unified state we know today in 1871 - it's younger even than yours! - I would guess so.

Yes.
Accuse someone from one end of the country of coming from the other and WWIII will breakout in your face.
There are many linguistic, cultural and culinary differences, getting any of these mixed up and WWIII will breakout in your face.
As for the people, natives of Italy will tell you in the utmost detail why their region is FAR superior to any other. Unless one is talking, or rather being talked to, by a Roman Rome is always at the bottom of the pile....

Safe topics - their olive oil ad wine are undoubtedly the very best in Europe, if not the world, but just don't mention a specific region as getting that wrong and WWIII will breakout in your face.

Personally I find Italian wine and food to be very good, and the people most hospitable, so long as you support the right team (a bit of homework pays off here)

What are you inferring here?
It happens to be a correct sentiment & one I share so what is diplomatic about it?
There is good & bad in every nation.
Have you forgotten the damage done by Brit lager louts in Europe?

Recognize the puntastic self-descriptive irony?...

;-)

Yep, I've very much enjoyed various parts of Italy and their food.

Although some care is needed for some of their more crazy roads and road 'habits'... I've been many times across the bridge that then collapsed in Genoa...

Really enjoyed various pizzas from some very family run wood burning oven pizzerias around the railway station there. And very good food all around.

Like most places, wonderful people but stay clear of some of the politics!

All very cosmopolitan to make for an interesting, varied, wonderful world!

Enjoy,
Martin

Another of Trump's great dealing making deals great for himself:

Collection Agencies Summoned To Force Trump To Pay His Bills
wrote:
It's no secret that Donald Trump doesn't like paying bills. Um, he had been sued multiple different times from multiple different groups in multiple different States. Uh, during his time as just a businessman before he ever entered politics for not paying his bills, contractors would have to go to court and Sue him because they never got paid for the job...

That's quite an unsavory game: Don't pay bills until after wasting everyone's time and costs to drag the bill through the courts...

There are no winners with this latest attempt to corruptly game democracy:

Clumsy Arizona GOP Audit Stunt Risks Harming Faith In Elections

Incredible. How have unsupervised unqualified unknowns even been allowed anywhere near the already counted ballot papers, all in secret?!! Those ballot papers can never be recounted again after such abuse with this supposed 'audit' Trumped-up stunt.

This comment from an outsider sums up the case nicely:

bianca wrote:
I find it incredible that a private, partisan company is recounting certified ballots with no supervision on the taxpayer dime. In a state and county where the votes have been already been recounted...REALLY??? Wow!!

Incredible.

Nothing good will come from this latest silliness...
