Highly symbolically, the Impeachment was signed on the lectern that had been stolen during the Capitol riot. Trump has since given a televised address from a very obviously scripted piece that is very much not in his usual style. There was no mention of the impeachment or of his end of term or of the new era soon to be lead by Jo Biden. The main focus appears to be some very carefully crafted words to try to calm down some very disturbed Trump supporters... Here's hoping those words do indeed quell the madness. Stay safe folks! Trump 'orders aides not to pay Giuliani's $20,000-a-day legal fee'. And v2.0's crazy henchman Pompeo has cancelled his latest overseas trip (probably because no one wants to talk to him). Pompeo cancels last trip as secretary of state amid global criticism of Trump. The sooner all 3 permanently disappear from public view the safer the world will be. Meanwhile another pair of the "Mighty White" clan lose their jobs. Off-duty Virginia police officers arrested for their roles in the U.S. Capitol riot. I wonder how they feel about their "Mighty White" cop privileges now? But the Tea Party now has even more to worry about. Koch network pledges to 'weigh heavy' lawmakers' actions in riots. Though I'm sure that there'll be more fallout from "The Crash of the Flight 93 Presidency" for some time yet to come. I normally search YouTube for old classic films, tv shows & documentaries. However, the list on the right of the page often display current topics as well. One caught my attention last night after the impeachment hearing, so watched it. Mike Taylor, Aug 20 2020 - former CoS of DHS. Cannot understand how many display shock after Jan 6 2021. The information & warnings were out there. Sadly like most "events" in history, either nobody was listening, or ignored them due to their own agendas. TBH, I cannot see that ever changing.
