Well over U.S. news channels commentary so far today it looks like he'll be told to resign 1st, if he doesn't the 25th will be used to immediately remove him (by the time an appeal would likely be heard it'll be far too late anyway as Joe will be in his old seat) and then impeachment will be used to deliver the final knockout blow.

So whatever happens it won't be good for Donny in the end anyway.
