This park has gone paint, window, and skirt happy...

Next door went from blue w/white trimp, to beige w/brown trim and new skirting is on order.

Vic does that raise your standard of living?

Probably more like the prospect of the park wanting to get a loan so they can replace the circa 1966 infrastructure which the state wants replaced, which until the park does so, the park can not fill any of the approximately 44 empty spaces that are here.

I already have a 100Amp stub and 100Amp main breaker, to go higher would probably require a new breaker box and stub, not to mention a new copper cable to go between the stub and the box, currently the cable that does that is aluminum. But we'll see what the future brings.

Winning after a few driver revivers and a couple of more beers to make up for the blood that the vampire got out of me today.

Cheers.

It was a nice day. Great sunset, but that's not good. It means smoke is in the air. Too many fires in California.

At least I got around the village this morning getting a few things taken care of before the rain arrived.

Message 2054833 - Posted: 7 Aug 2020, 2:51:09 UTC

I stayed inside today, I've been tossing around an idea of what My next used car might be:

2016-2021 Nissan Leaf SL(107-215 mile epa): w/the Lizard battery, the Leaf battery is air cooled and the Lizard can handle desert temps in the US.

vs

2017-2018 Ford Focus Electric(115 mile epa): slightly smaller trunk than I have now in a 4 Door hatchback.

One has a doomed DC Fast charge system w/a heatpump and the other has a DC Fast charge system that is becoming the defacto US standard and a resistance heater to keep one warm which will decrease the range at a much greater rate then a heatpump.

Eliminated:

2013-2016 Chevy Spark EV(82 mile epa): No stock backup camera and a smaller trunk than I have now in a 4 Door hatchback, reportedly can recharge in 10mins on DC w/a Combo port.
2017-2019 Chevy Bolt EV(239 mile epa): DC Fast charging is optional and one can't tell if it's installed or not online, so far.
Fiat 500e: No DC Fast charging since Fiat did not want to make the door for fuel/energy bigger to house a combo port, the charger is otherwise able to do DC from what I read.
2011-2016 Ford Focus Electric(76 mile epa): slightly smaller trunk than I have now in a 4 Door hatchback w/no DC Fast charging, just AC charging, expensive to upgrade.
2011-2015 Nissan Leaf SL(75-84 mile epa): May need a battery upgrade to the Lizard battery, the Leaf battery is air cooled and the Lizard can handle desert temps in the US.
