Some acres for sale and asking low 6 figures zoned Ag so I can build 1 house now but general plan for Multi Family. If I get a rezone I can build 24 town homes. I could make money just building and selling 1 home. If I build 14 townhomes I can sell them for $7 million. My profit would be about $1.5. There are negatives. Going to to look at it today. I know of one piece of vacant land near Me, it even has a fwy going past it, one would need $75,000 for 22.01 acres... I could put My home on it, of course the cost of tear down, moving and setup is between $5,000-$10,000 and I don't have access to that type of cash. It would need to be rezoned from AG to RL, plus it's on a paged(paved) road too... Drat. I would not invest there. No market. ID: 2045825 ·

It's transmission lines and getting a Power Purchase Agreement that are the hard part. Remember California has excess capacity now. During summer we had to pay Arizona to take some of our power.
