I have two tabs in browser dedicated to the leader board. One tab looks at the top 20 to see how the power crunchers are leap frogging each other and the other tab looks at the bottom 20 to see how far away am I from breaking in. I refresh the tabs twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Am I alone in doing this?

I do it to see how many oil slicks I have to lay down to slow up Zalster and have him crash into the weeds. Ha ha.

No you are not alone in watching the Leaderboard. As one of the owners of a system that goes up/down in the top 20 I get to raze someone when I (temporarily) pass them.

I have a newly setup box which "should" crack the top 100 in some weeks.

The other thing I watch for is very high cpu count systems hitting the top one hundred. We have a couple of real monsters out there (64-128?). When I find them I post on a thread called "Heavy Metal".

Speaking of oil....

Sorry Keith, it's getting cold in the living room. Just checked my monthly usage on the heater, up 400+ hours!! Tired to fire up another machine to warm up this area.....
