So this wall falls over, doesn't stop tunnels, can be cut open with DIY tools and needs storm gates that will be left open. Not much good is it.
Anything more than a barb wire cattle fence is worthless. What is useful is making Mexico first world. Imagine how much more economic activity from cross border trade. Or keep throwing good money after bad and keep on with massive armies to only marginally slow smuggling. BTW I thought less government was the goal, that means less government employees right?

The USA really does need a few updates to drag itself up from the bad old ignorant uneducated brutal old days of medieval barbarity...

How scary coming from the mouth of an elected member of the Government? Obviously he thinks it should be policy and he is in a position to implement it!

Maybe it's a congenital mental defect/illness of some sort that's yet to be discovered in such people. ;-)

One would hope so because then it could be diagnosed and such people would be able to be committed where they can do no more damage.

The results of the caucuses in Iowa, the first step in the primary election process to chose the Democratic presidential candidate in the United States, are still lingering. But while the world is waiting for the results, President Donald Trump can wave a victory flag after the voting fiasco.
- Now the president can say "How can they run the country when they can't even count two hundred thousand votes," says SVT reporter.
Iowa Democratic party chairman Troy Price told a news conference on Tuesday evening the fiasco had been "simply unacceptable".
"I apologise deeply for this, this was a coding error," he said, while insisting the data was secure and promising a thorough review.

On the offchance everyone isn't already aware:

Donald Trump acquitted by Senate on both charges in impeachment trial

U.S. President Donald Trump has been acquitted of both charges in his Senate impeachment trial.

On the first article of impeachment, the charge of abuse of power, the vote was 52 to 48.

On the second article, the charge of obstruction of Congress, the vote was 53 to 47.

Utah Sen. Mitt Romney was the only Republican who voted to convict Trump on the first article. Romney made his decision known hours before the vote on the Senate floor Wednesday.

Romney called Trump's actions "perhaps the most abusive and destructive violation of oath of office that I can imagine."

The impeachment drama that has consumed Washington since September comes to an end as the Republican president pivots toward the election in November.

"I hope our Democratic colleagues will finally accept the results of this trial, just as they have not accepted the results of the 2016 election," said Republican Sen. John Cornyn, saying he hopes they do not launch a second impeachment inquiry. "It's time for our country to come together, to heal the wounds that divide us."
Sounds eerily familiar.

Perhaps the partisan Democrats are living in an alternate universe. Where they really believe their attempt to remove a President for partisan political reasons will not backfire against them.

That's silly the Dems knew going in they couldn't remove Trump. What they did was publicly expose Trump and educate the public of what he did.
Mission accomplished.

It served notice to the voters of just how far the Republican Establishment swamp is willing to go to cover up their crimes.

The voters will either act on the information, or ignore it choosing to be molly coddled from cradle to grave.

"Mission accomplished" against the Democrat's is what has Trump and the Republican's cheering and the Democrat's do not understand.

Yes, the Democrat Party is still clearly deranged, delusional, irrational and most probably politically suicidal. Why tear up a speech that included, among other positive's, celebrating a 100 year old black Tuskegee Airman and supporting a 10 year old black girl's attempt to have a successful life?

Understanding that November is an eternity away in political terms. If the Democrat's lose both the Presidential election and the House this November. Will they finally understand that they may be an irrelevant political force in Washington for many years to come?

That's an interesting spin, November will tell.

If that happens then it is just a race to the bottom for the US, and China will be the world superpower within 20 years.

The only saving grace might be is that the Trump base will die out and non-latina whites will be a minority.
