I'm off for 3 or 5 (maybe 6) P.O.E.T.S. Day beers at the pub (3 doors up the hill) so I'll give the retry button a rest for an hour or 3 and see what the damage is when I get back. ;-)Until it's sleepy time ...Still bugging me on all hosts. Seems to be doing better. Perhaps all the bunkered stuff has reported in ... |

The start of the WoW challenge has certainly made for some interesting server graphs. Grant Darwin NT |

Thanks Juan for the info. My uploads are going through very slowly now. At least it gave the server time to deal with deletions, but now there will be a flood of more WUs as we recover from the network outage. |

Over at Einstein hair was set on fire and the moon was howled at in protest of the network being down but I'm not sure what it would take to fix the upload situation. https://einsteinathome.org/goto/comment/172722 |

The start of the WoW challenge has certainly made for some interesting server graphs. . . Not as interesting as the router upgrade at Berkeley, this is not fun ... what a time for the two things to happen ... Stephen :( |

I guess you are not any network administrator either, betreger, for handling such a situation, except also credit going with also credentials, for that of a user. |

Splitter output has taken a dive again. Not much in the Ready-to-send buffer, so it shouldn't be too long before work is extremely scarce. Grant Darwin NT |

Think the splitters will struggle as usual as long the WU deleters and assimilators are still climbing and not peaked and then going down. More than just struggle, splitter output is now 0.Splitter output has taken a dive again. Not much in the Ready-to-send buffer, so it shouldn't be too long before work is extremely scarce.Think the splitters will struggle as usual as long the WU deleters and assimilators are still climbing and not peaked and then going down. Would have been nice to get the new upload server running before WoW, it might have helped things along. Edit- Just picked up some more AP work, along with Arecibo MB, and unfortunately many of them appear to be shorties. That's not going to help things at all... Edit- I notice several Assimilators aren't running (as in half of them)- that's going to cause everything to backup.. If someone knows the magic address, could they please pass that along to those that can get them going again? Grant Darwin NT |

Edit- I notice several Assimilators aren't running (as in half of them)- that's going to cause everything to backup.. If someone knows the magic address, could they please pass that along to those that can get them going again? All the Assimilators are running again, and their backlog is clearing. Of course that will now result in an increase in the Deleters load, and their backlog. Since the splitters are barely producing any work over the last couple of hours, hopefully the Deleter backlog will start to clear sooner than usual, then the splitters can produce some work again. I'm wondering if some of the server settings have been tweaked? While the return rate has dropped, it's still around a level that's previously resulted in splitter output problems when the Deleter backlog is high- and it's presently at it's highest level ever. But even so, the splitters are managing to keep (just) ahead of demand, slowly filling the Ready-to-send buffer back up. *fingers crossed* Grant Darwin NT |

Uploads are getting sticky again along with the general slowness of the website. Taking a long time to pull up tasks too. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
