Today i looked at what America is doing with the covid 19 vaccine called mRNA-1273. The company is Modemo. This company is using a new experimental platform and has not produced any Vaccines yet that have been approved The mRNS-1273 will not stop you getting covid 19. It is hoped that it will produce the correct immune response in those that have covid 19. This is the same goal as the Australian Doctors however in Australia they believe that a old 99 year vaccine called BCG witch has been given to 130 mil baby's world wide since it was developed. It is known what the side effects are and is safe The vaccine being developed by Modemo will not be ready till 2021 and will not stop ppl getting covid 19 , however the TB vaccine will be much quicker as they will only have to test if it is giving ppl with covid 19 the correct immune response . The Modemo vaccine will be expensive due to patents . The company has been given 1 billion$$ by the American Government to do this . There is also a lot of risk with this vaccine as the normal checks will be waved . The platform they are using under normal conditions maybe the silver bullet that we need to produce vaccines due to the antibiotic resistance that the world is facing. But first it has to be proven to work , Dismissing classic medical ways to produce vaccines should not be done . Why spend billions on a vaccine unproven unknown when there are vaccines that only have to be repurposed is very silly and only drives medical costs up . If the TB vaccine works the way Doctors here think it will i don't think country's will pay for a expensive vaccine that does not actually stop ppl getting covid 19 , when there is a much cheaper vaccine . So sorry America you may not make much profit . It does show thou how different health care is when profit is more important than good healthcare out comes . It can lead to waste of resources , money and time and put a lot of risk where there should not be |

....Mortality Rate..... ....but, are the deaths attributed to the WuHu Flu accurate? Or are they inflated for whatever reason? ....anecdotal but these stories are growing from many sources.... "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Liar, Liar, people killer BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Commission said on Tuesday there was no evidence that a drug touted by U.S. President Donald Trump as a potential miracle cure against COVID-19 was effective against the disease caused by the new coronavirus. |

Well Australia was in the top 10 to start with and now Sweden is about to bump us out of the top 20 while Turkey is the fast riser to watch ATM. Also while the U.S. is going ballistic China's manufacturing industry is already starting to recover. China's manufacturing rebounds as virus controls ease. |

.....while Turkey is the fast riser to watch ATM. From this side of the pond Turkey along with Italy, Greece and Iran + Iraq and Pakistan are ones to watch as they are all border countries between continental or cultural areas. I suspect it is in the firmament that the best statistics are to be found (as long as the statistics are correct.) |

https://covid19.healthdata.org/projections NY short 60,610 hospital beds and 10,602 ICU beds, stay at home 3/22 CA, home, short 0 hospital beds and 0 ICU beds, stay at home 3/19 (what a difference a couple days makes) FL short 0 hospital beds and 297 ICU beds. LA (state) short 1,060 hospital beds and 792 ICU beds. MI short 4407 beds and 1,506 ICU beds. Bottom of the shaded area is best possible case, top of the shaded area is worst case. Average assumes social distancing is maintained. There are some states that have not ordered social distancing, they likely should be read as worst case numbers. In such a scenario Texas could be short 20,000 hospital beds, fortunately though its blue city mayors have issued stay at home even though the red governor has been too timid to act. I believe the deaths number in the charts assumes that all who need an ICU bed get one. Obviously if they don't the death toll will be much higher, unbearably higher. Thank you mr potus for all your delays. |

Have they finally got him see the facts? White House projects 100K to 240K US deaths from virus WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned Americans to brace for a “hell of a bad two weeks†ahead as the White House projected there could be 100,000 to 240,000 deaths in the U.S. from the coronavirus pandemic even if current social distancing guidelines are maintained. |

Umm if you have been watching , right at the very start of this problem it was well reported that China was not adding all the deaths or adding those that test positive but show no symptoms . China are now going to add those stats to the record form now on . As the first Country to get it and go into a bit of a panic i am not that surprised that they did not add a lot of the deaths or even those that showed no symptoms. They where overwhelmed and where more concered about building hospitals and saving lives . |

Not sure how well this will work, but it seems OK here. New COVID-19 dashboard maps give daily updates on coronavirus impact for every US county and state. Actually, it seems to be more about statistics than mapping - hard to find a graphical overview - but may be useful for some people. |

Yes, I've already posted a zoom from that map (New York, Westchester, and Long Island) in this thread. |

That's a pretty great business model.........start a plague then sell the tools to mitigate the effects............ You mean start a plague, then when it backfires spectacularly, believe yourself invincible, and then when that too blows in your face, blame the original intended victims? The first affected countries were China and Iran, declared enemies of the United States. How strange... Beware the blaming game. That, too, can backfire. Gazing at the skies, hoping for contact... Unlikely, but it would be such a fantastic opportunity to learn. My alternative profile |

The first affected countries were China and Iran, declared enemies of the United States. How strange... ....IF, sir, you are saying this was started, intentionally, by the United States as a bio-attack against China and Iran (which would appear to be the case by your usage of the term 'intended victims'), that is a farcical idea which can be easily refuted logically. IF your parroting of the Chinese propaganda machine's lie were true please explain WHY would the 'intended victims' conceal the magnitude of the outbreak, it's level of contagiousness, and the number of deaths involved? Were your fairy tale factual the authorities there would have been shouting it from the rooftops with color videos of mass deaths to curry favor from the court of World Opinion(as worthless as that usually is). And WHY would they tell the WHO it's not contagious and no threat to world health? World Health Organization (WHO) The outbreak and level of infection in Iran can be explained by the number of Chinese immigrant workers in the City of Qom, just like the the level in Lombardi Italy, again hundreds of thousands of Chinese immigrant workers traveling to and from Hubei. Again, Occam's Razor. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

It is an idea floated by a "news" organisation, called OANN, presumably well liked by the White House, as they have had almost unlimited access to White House briefings when the numbers have been limited because of separation guidelines. And in Trump's own words, “OAN. Very good,†he said after calling on Rion in one briefing. “They treat me very nicely.†|
