So here's Andrew Yang on Shapiro and while I'm no Shapiro fan, Ben doesn't really spoil it so it's totally watchable. Rogan interview was better but only because Andrew had more time to go into more detail. I have zero evidence to support what I'm about to say but I'll say it anyway: I'm pretty sure a LOT more people said that about Trump than ever will about Yang :) I just came back from watching this next clip. He isn't getting attacked on Fox (granted it's Fox Business but still) and the comment section and 'Like" ratio are straight up YouTube anomalies. The same goes for the Shapiro show come to think of it. Sure there's a long way to go, and I know I only discovered the guy - literally - just yesterday but... Unfortunately The youths were released on Saturday evening on conditional bail pending further inquiries.So I Don't think your sugestion is going to happen. It isn't just the money. These things were life's work of the builder. They won't live long enough to replace them, no matter the funding. The lost time, 25 years in one case, perhaps that better reflects what should happen. All of this most likely because they aren't in a clique in their school, so anger builds until it explodes. ID: 1994333 · |

Sadly it will only build up more angst in the recipients and probably teach them that violence is the way to solve other problems like when they are older and rearing children. Curfew by parents, no internet access except for homework, no designer clothing and limited pocket money is the only way to impress on the young people the seriousness of vandalism. (For me it is not some love of models but vandalism per-ce that is an issue.) However I also think some irony would help - like making them do 4 hours each week of community service or extra-corricula activities - Minature-modelling comes to mind. :-) ... and because parents should be held responsible for at least knowing where there kids are (most of the time) and their childrens 'mindset' they too should be held to some account. Corporal punishment is assault and battery whether it is a child, an adult or culturally accepted, legal or otherwise. I am amazed that given the costs of the models that they didn't hire a security guard or have a few volunteers stop over to watch and ward off wanna be vandals. It seems not everyone loves model railways :( I do. I have some lovely little models in N, HO\OO and HOe scales. ID: 1994346 · |
