The current "non-criminal interests" are called "emolument violations", since his politics directly involve promoting those same interests. This is on top of his money laundering and various other crooked real estate dealings, all of which are CRIMINAL. I may be an Anti-Trumper, but I still demand facts, not uncorroborated accusations, regarding Trump's specific knowledge of everything he has been accused of that usually results in imprisonment (not the usual fines) or would lead to a non-political Impeachment.

I don't know which date is correct about when the deal was cancelled, but you can guarantee the lies were made to cover up his involvement with a country many regard as the enemy, which would potentially have lost him votes.

You appear to be confusing normal business dealings with Russia by Western European businesses, Trump and the other capitalists with Political shenanigans.

BTW: All the Countries dealing with Russia are dealing with the enemy?

You fail to get the message, nobody is saying as a businessman he cannot have business dealings in Russia, that is perfectly legal, until he became President. What is under question and where it becomes a problem is, why he lies about it. It has to because he wants it kept hidden.

So who does he want it hidden from, was it the electorate? Because he and his advisors think it will harm his election chances?
If this is the case then why shouldn't he be impeached, for lying?

Or was it for another, probably illegal, reason?
I'll let you speculate about any other reasons, why he needed to lie and keep hidden about business deals in Russia.
