Because of the Christmas and New Years Day holidays, our weekly outage will be on Wednesday rather than the normal Tuesday both this week and next. |

Doesn't anyone in the management think that it would be proper to notify the Users of seti@home regarding the unscheduled maintenance operations which end up in total (as in scheduled maintenance) or partial (as in "Task View" is not available since longer than 24 hours as of now) shutdown(s) with explanation(s) and/or expected return period(s) to normal operation(s)... ??? It may be that most of the users will not be able to understand the technicality that lies beneath, but they will definitely feel that they are being thought of and informed... Hope I make a small point here... |

The personal stats appear to be presently accessible (users have pointed out that the Carolyn server has apparently been the source of the stats' inaccessibility), and the other issues you're talking about (and more) are discussed here. Considering this happened during holidays, methink the staff can be forgiven for not taking the time to explain the apparently minor technical intricacies involved (even if some of us understandably want to *know* lol) and is imo to be commended for the short duration of this slightly more prolonged outage ^^ Doesn't anyone in the management think that it would be proper to notify the Users of seti@home regarding the unscheduled maintenance operations which end up in total (as in scheduled maintenance) or partial (as in "Task View" is not available since longer than 24 hours as of now) shutdown(s) with explanation(s) and/or expected return period(s) to normal operation(s)... ???
