There are many road accidents with reindeer in our dark winters.
Here is a solution. Spraying reflective paint on their reindeer's antlers.
Now waiting for reports of aliens floating through the woods.
Yes. When you encounter aliens, spray them with reflective paint so all the pictures of them get clearer. So far the pictures of them are very dim.

Here's a small dot, yep the center is our sun, the outer edge in orange is Betelgeuse...
Makes everything here look very small indeed. Some think this star is as big as the orbit of Saturn, put that in your H-bomb.

When it explodes one day in a Supernova, this will be the night sky for a bit.

But in the distance, through some trees, all you'll see are the antlers. Or as they will be reported, aliens.

Since October it has been possible to see with the naked eye that Betelgeuse has radically decreased in brightness. Now it shines weaker than we humans have ever observed.
The decrease in brightness can be a natural variation. But it could also be a sign that the star will soon explode and become a supernova. The last time that happened in our galaxy was 1604.

Before that in 1054 Chinese astronomers recorded a star going Supernova, today it's known as the Crab Nebula. And yes it can be a natural variation, if it exploded already the light just hasn't arrived here yet.

If it exploded yesterday we would not know it for about 642 years. Of course if it exploded some time during the 100 year war or the signing of the Treaty of Neuberg, splitting the Austrian Habsburg lands between the Habsburg Dukes Albert III and Leopold III then it could appear in the night sky soon.

From the you can't make this up department:
Deaf man from Brooklyn sues (******** web site) over lack of closed captioning

A deaf man from Brooklyn is moaning that he can’t fully enjoy videos on ********* because they don’t provide closed captioning – so he has filed a class-action lawsuit alleging the site is in violation of federal law.

Yep. At least he isn't like the disabled shyster that hired teams of people to visit public restrooms, so he could say that he - the shyster - visited, with cameras and measuring tapes and sue if they were off by a 1/4 of an inch on any ADA item. He got caught when one of the places didn't settle and pulled up their security video for the date/time the shyster said he visited and he wasn't there, but his measuring crew was. Judge didn't like it at all. IIRC he was labeled vexatious and required to get prior permission to file any case. Kind of ends your ability to be a lawyer.

P.S. HTML has an "alt=" element for pictures for the visually impaired so a screen reader can describe the picture. When I worked in Entertainment I became aware that Federal law requires all prerecorded broadcast TV to be closed captioned, despite the law not all is. Streaming wasn't a big thing then, it is now.

The dude must of been bluntly stupid!

Sheriff says '[it was] one of the craziest things I’ve seen' after watching man light joint in court

The man appeared in court Monday on a marijuana possession charge. The sheriff says the man approached the bench to discuss his sentence and that's when he pulled the marijuana from his pocket in front of the general sessions judge....
