Amazon Scout robots take to pavements in Washington State Amazon is experimenting with delivery robots, starting with a little truck called Scout which is taking to the pavements in Washington State.I can see the local hackers giving them a hippy paint-job and reprogramming them as 'follow-me' lunchboxes. |

I once stayed in the Hotel Arbez, on the Franco-Swiss border - where the international boundary (and hence EU outer border) passes through the dining room. |

My first instinct would be to say the building was there before the boundary line. Why would they build across it? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

My first instinct would be to say the building was there before the boundary line. Why would they build across it? And you are correct, the Oregon Country was claimed by both the US and the UK. The Oregon Treaty of 1846 ended disputed joint occupancy pursuant to the Treaty of 1818 and established the British-American boundary at the 49th parallel (except Vancouver Island). My first instinct would be to say the building was there before the boundary line. Why would they build across it? Hmmm... Well, I'm perplexed, then. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Wikipedia says: The Haskell Free Library and Opera House was a gift from Mrs. Martha Stewart Haskell and her son Col. Horace "Stewart" Haskell. ... The Haskells wanted Canadians and Americans to have equal access to the Library and Opera House and so they chose to build on the border. Construction began in 1901 and the Opera House opened in 1904 and the Library in 1905. |

Trevor who some of you might remember for having made a charming appearance in Tinks's pigeon thread, is, like Tinks is, rather a bit of a lot, no more either sadly :( |

Who wants to be the first to try this? The New Cheetos Chicken Slop From KFC KFC lovingly describes in a press release: “Made by coating a juicy, hand-breaded Extra Crispy chicken filet with special Cheetos sauce and placing it on a toasted bun with mayo and a layer of crunchy Cheetos, the Cheetos Sandwich will give you a blast of craveable Cheetos in every bite.†In this manner, KFC doubles up on the Cheetos-ness, providing a Cheetos sauce (the mind reels) as well as actual Cheetos in the sandwich. |

Who wants to be the first to try this? I'd try it, though it's a real shame the KFC in Barstow went out of business a few years back. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
