No for the simple fact is that America thrives on greed, making them top of the list. If you think differently, then a sensible reason would suffice.

Is that a yes to my following post:

All humans and countries are imperfect.

Therefore, are you able to accept that Unfettered Capitalist China is worse than, let's say, Capitalist Ireland, Sweden, Australia, USA, Japan, South Korea, Germany, etc.?
Comprehension 101 - that is: unless you think that America & USA are 2 different countries.

Maybe Clyde should look up "The Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry" and see how a social democracy handles unrestrained capitalist greed (the power companies will be next).

The case for collusion by the NFL teams against Kaepernick is to go ahead.

The national anthem should not be played in sports played internally, only for finals & international games. Job done.

Who are 100% of their customers?

If a percentage of Nike's customers disagrees with their decision in this polarized climate. Why would they use him?

now very off topic.
Best answered by who their customer isn't. Their customer is not baby boom. Their customer is not infirm. Their customer is not conservative.

If a percentage disagree, is that percent of business loss less than the gain from all the free advertising? Run a few focus groups and see if they are making a good investment. Not everyone runs around as half baked as 45.

Your belief that those over 30, 40 or whatever and are conservative do not buy Nike products...
Didn't say that, pay attention when beans are being counted.

Gary... You are incorrect.
Again, you fail to pay attention when beans are to be counted. You are insisting on thinking qualitatively, not quantitatively. As I said count beans. Quantitative! Just as was put in my original words.

Then again perhaps you can't think like a C level marketing executive and can't see how this has a huge upside profit potential.

Run those focus groups! And stop being so stupid as to think Nike hasn't run focus groups and can't do math. (You just don't want to admit they may already know how blue the country really is.)

PS: 45 = POTUS the most half baked in any hemisphere.
Youngest boomers are eligible for AARP cards, all 55+. That's got to be it, you have no idea what the age distribution of the USA is, so you have no clue. You also must not realize younger people wear out shoes and clothing must faster than older people so you can sell many more pairs to them. You also must not realize younger people are less conservative than older people in general. You also must discount their slavishness to fads. When you are marketing you need to know your core. (That's one thing 45 does know.)

Count the beans.

I just said that your belief that 100% of their customers are, is not as you stated.

And I was 100% correct.
I don't buy Nike & never have, making you 100% incorrect.

Colin Kaepernick Has Created $43 Million in Buzz for Nike in Less Than 24 Hours

"A Nike spokeswoman didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The company’s shares fell as much as 3.9 percent in New York Tuesday."
Anyone can cut & paste to cherry pick a statement that conforms to their viewpoint.

I prefer to cherry pick a more important cut & paste from the same report:“It’s not a move that any company can make, but for Nike it’s definitely smart business.”

Hmm, Nike is a business is it not?

Shares go up as well as down. Why don't you check back in 12 months time to see if they actually made loss. :-)

You have shown on many occasions that whenever you use numbers in your posts, you fall down big time. To save such embarrassment in the future, try to post without using numbers. :-)
