Just got a no tasks are available at BOINC startup. Weird. Just looked at my log- been no work for about 45 min now (there were about 3 WUs picked up early on). That would have to be one of the shortest times to failure after an outage yet. Project has no tasks available is all i'm getting now, luckily the cache had refilled before it stopped getting any work. Grant Darwin NT |

Panic over- as usual, within minutes of posting about the problem, it sorts itself out. Just picked up heaps of work on the last 2 requests. Caches full again. Grant Darwin NT |

So with 10858 channels to split I think we are still safe until the next outage :), a good 7 days I would think. . . LOL . . That is the risk of making a statement, no matter how considered, you can always be wrong :) Stephen :) |

The status report is stale (45minutes for some things) and it looks like all splitters are off. I hope this is just a hiccup. |

The status report is stale (45minutes for some things) and it looks like all splitters are off. I hope this is just a hiccup. status report is back and more recent. the splitters could be off because ready to send is over 600k. Since I'm an optimist I'll guess that the splitters will split again after it drops below the magic number (550K??) |

So where did the "phantom" Arecibo tasks split today come from? https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=3096329479 Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

So where did the "phantom" Arecibo tasks split today come from? Looks like a new tape that was recorded either June or July. But there is no tape from Arecibo listed in the splitter array. |

So where did the "phantom" Arecibo tasks split today come from? That's why I called it "phantom" I have seen no Arecibo tape loaded in the past week. So was it stuck in the RTS buffer and finally came free? Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

So where did the "phantom" Arecibo tasks split today come from? I got some of those WU's as well. Looks like I received 69 WU's across my two machines. I think that is a 27 July tape, at least if I decrypt the ID correctly. |

Assuming the 27Jul tape just slipped past view. Right now 14au18aa is splitting. Even got a few APs off it so far ... |

Yes I was thinking it got loaded and completely split in the middle of night without curious eyes noticing.
