Two day weekend this time. Boss man wanted us to have some OT this week. No problems with that extra 10 hour shift on the payroll check.

My turn!!! :-)

(S T R E T C H I N G my credit line!!!!)

Just purchased a Gigabyte GA-H270-HD3 MOBO two months ago... (Got about half off using Rewards Points... $127.26 incl Tax, Paid $76.26 after Rewards Points.)

Put an i7 7700K on Layaway last month at my computer parts source, $346.22 incl Tax... (They normally DON'T do this, but I've been buying systems and parts for many years from them. So, they've extended me some "In Store Credit" so to speak and have allowed me Layaway Status on this Processor. Made second payment today. Will pick up CPU next month. Bal Due: $100.)

I'm hoping that some time next year I can get the rest of the system parts together to build a replacement Hackintosh. (I tried with the Z270-HD3 in New Prometheus, (board was listed as Hackintosh Compatible), BUT could NOT get the Mac Installer to come up... I KNOW from experience that the H270-HD3 IS 100% Hackintosh Compatible.)

I now need a new PSU, Case, Samsung 850 or 860 Pro 1TB SSD, and RAM. (Next year.) I have a new SilverStone FS303B Hot Swap Bay, Lite-On DVD Burner, and CoolerMaster Hyper212 EVO all on hand for this system. These parts I've had on hand for several months. Combined with what is NOW New Prometheus, these parts WERE going to be used for New Exeter - a replacement for the Win XP Pro x64 system... UNFORTUNATELY, the Hackintosh took a dump, so I tried to reconstitute it with what I had on hand... (FAILED...) Wish me luck, I'm hoping next year will be a better year for $$$...

Hi TL, sent you a PM

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for that PM, I've just sent a response. I'm HIGHLY interested. :-)

[EDIT:]

Had to jump on getting the MOBO and CPU as my source, (and even Amazon), seems to be clearing and closing out i7 Parts Support and Supply... :-(

Sunday win. Heading over to Sebastopol for a bike ride. Wonder if Russians influenced the name of the city? Or the Russian River?

Of course they did. It was Russia after all when things were being named.
