After running my Ryobi with its path edger attachment around all 300 odd metres of concrete border and path edges around my yard and it's LLB time I'm going to enjoy a beer or 2 before changing over to my brush cutter attachment to attack my neighbour's front jungle (she'll be pleased as her landlord is a bit too lazy).

After that I'm going to enjoy a few more beers and the actual mowing can wait until tomorrow. ;-)

Cheers.

This morning I got the gas cylinder for my ring burner in the brewroom refilled and some brewing supplies as Monday looks to be a good morning to turn the heat on and put a brew together with the possibility of our 1st frost for the year happening then.

Anyhow, I'll go back to enjoying the fruits of last winter's labour after another busy morning was had (I also repaired a stone garden border that Dog had damaged in a few place).

Cheers.

Same here, I'm unfortunately one of those "key worker" plonkers working in a warehouse. This time of year I'd be starting at a nice leisurely 11:00 or even midday working till five.

Nope.

Since the "lockdown" over here it's gone nuts, last week was a 08:00 start, this week it's been a 07:00 start. It started off with the kids stuff like slides, trampolines, playhouses and whatnot but soon devolved into the Dads obviously wanting to get projects done and it was DIY stuff, tools, decking, flatpack furniture and others including my favourite item to deal with: concrete mixers.

That's right, CONCRETE MIXERS. Either some serious work is going on or someones making an extension to their patio.

Not to mention the mess the evening shift left the place with an added technical fault that left me dealing with FOUR depots worth of stuff to sort...

Egads pass me the beer.

I was hoping to get across to the village supermarket this morning (no, I don't need any TP), but with this wind and rain it looks like I'll have a couple of beers first before seeing if there's any improvement in the weather ATM. ;-)

It's time here now for a Saturday LLB. :-D

Cheers.

I've got 2hrs and 2 small tasks left to do and then I'll either join you or carry on from where you leave off DLL. ;-)

I'll just go and enjoy my last coffee break of the morning down by the fireplace I think.

Cheers.

Well that's my 1st 6 carton beer brew bubbling away for this brewing season here down under.

It must now be time for a couple of last season's beers.

Cheers.

Ah, there's nothing like the smell of yeast farts in the morning. :-D

But there's still 4hrs to go until LLB time. :-(

I'm now about to start sterilising 72x750ml beer bottles before filling them with 6% lager.

Cheers.

Well I've finally finished bottling that brew and as tomorrow morning is suppose to be a frosty start here I'll put another brew down tomorrow.

Now for a beer or 4 from March last year's batch.

Cheers.

There's another lager brew outgasing in my brewroom which I'll seal up in the morning once it has settled down a bit, but the back of the shed should smell pretty good in the morning with all that yeast farting away like mad. :-D

2 more brews will see the rest of my lager bottles filled, but I still have plenty of last season's beer left yet, and I may get enough empty ginger beer bottles to do another brew before the season finishes. It looks like I'll have to resort to an online order to get my spirit supplies here though.

At least Beer O'clock can be had here now with 2 other mates (it has just been doubled under this "Social Distancing" age), but I'm still missing a good LLB at the pub.

Anyhow, as I sip away on a nice glass of sipping whiskey, I'm now thinking about making a pizza for dinner. ;-)

Cheers.

After a morning of cutting 25mmx50mmx2mm RHS up the old fashion way (no I don't have a cut off saw, but I do have a hacksaw and mitre box) it's time for LLB here. ;-)

And then I may go out and do a few more cuts (at least these will be right angle jobs now).

Cheers.

Enjoy Mike. ;-)

I've got some more construction work on again today, but I reckon that it'll wind up being another 6 schooner day by the end of it.

Cheers.

After a morning of de-rusting some flat steel (with a wire brush in a small angle grinder) and then cutting 2 pieces to a length to suit them bedhead sections that I cut down I'm enjoying a couple of beers while the shed and I cool down a bit (Robbie the Robot got a bit excited over the few pieces of wood that I fed him this morning getting the shed up to 28C while it's 13C outside though it feels more like 10C in the breeze).

Then after LLB I'll see how I go tacking this thin tube steel to that 25mm x 3mm flat steel without blowing holes in it. ;-)

Cheers.

It's time for a quick LLB to wash the sawdust down before I get back to creating more sawdust.

Cheers.
