SSP has crawled under the covers and is hiding, presumably asleep. The whole site is yawning badly - obviously getting ready for the weekly outrage in a few hours time. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I was getting periods of not being able to connect to the servers last night that would last for a minute or two. Something is struggling badly. I am suspecting the outage today to be a rather long one again. Meowsigh. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

At least my 1060's didn't run out of work, just, but all caches are now full again. Cheers. |

We're back :-) Was this week an outlier or are we really back to 12 hour outages. Hope we didn't temporarily get spoiled with the month of 4 hour outages and we are back to the normal 12 hour outage length. If so I will have to plan accordingly. At least my 1060's didn't run out of work, just, but all caches are now full again. . . I had grown complacent, my 970 machine ran out at 6:30am, I moved everything from the CPU to the GPU but ran out again at 8:00 am. nearly 3 hours without work ... :( Stephen |

We're back :-) Tune in next week, same bat time, same bat channel for the answer to this troubling question ... Stephen :) |

I was out of work for 8 hours because I expected a short outage again. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Hopefully the extended outage allowed them to sort out the Splitter, Server Status page and Web site issues that had developed. Oh, and the entire file that errored out. Grant Darwin NT |

They still need to purge those remaining 71 MB V7 tasks and then remove that well obsolete entry from the server page. ;-) Cheers. |

They still need to purge those remaining 71 MB V7 tasks and then remove that well obsolete entry from the server page. ;-) Along with the MBv7 Validators & Assimilators. No need to have them there running when there's nothing to do. Would help tidy up the page as well. Grant Darwin NT |

Not really positive, but I think we may have a few shorter outages followed by a long one again. It would seem that the DB gets tangled up over time and needs the full monty. Just my observation. We shall see. Meow. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Looks like seti is down. I hope it is short... looks like it has been wonky for 30 mins now. Wed May 30 10:11:32 2018 | SETI@home | Project is temporarily shut down for maintenance looks like they are fiddling with it on purpose. |

Looks like seti is down. I hope it is short... looks like it has been wonky for 30 mins now. Project has been up for quite some time now but the replica server still has not caught up. They may need to fiddle some more ... Tom |

Splitter output has taken a dive again. And the Ready-to-send buffer along with it. Grant Darwin NT |
