I don't think I have ever seen a permanent HTTP error.
But it's a bit worrisome, given the DB reorganization that just took place.

I do not know about that type of lost Wu's.

But I had a ghost AP Wu before the server problems that had a couple of weeks to expiry, this Wu had vanished when we regained access to our tasks list.

I have two current download error tasks on one of my Linux hosts.

Task 6532136056
Task 6532136057

I swear I had four more download errors on the other Linux host but I can't find them now.

[Edit] And one of them had been flagged with the"too many errors" flag at 5 counts

I just checked on a task and see my wingman got hit with a download error. Just recent too, I wonder if the database reconfiguration lost some tasks. It's not the permanent http error I had on my failed downloads. But still worrying.

Yes, all of mine are lost about a dozen and keep getting more and more AFTER they are returned according to the Task Manager. All on the 1080ti and none on the 780 ti.

What Anti Virus are you running on that system?
Your Application information shows it's taking 18 days to return work. It should take around 7-10 min to process a WU, less with some command line values.
Yet there is no current indication of work returned, or yet errored out.

I do not run SETI each day and some tasks became rather aged. Normal run times on the 1080 ti are about 4-5 minutes and returned right afterwards.
Any other suggestions?

I would set AVG to exclude the BOINC data directories, and probably the BOINC program folders as well.
With a bit of luck, that should allow WUs that have been processed to have their results returned, and start getting some Credit for the work done.

I was mistaken, I do not have a anti virus program, Grant. Sorry.

Not even Microsoft Security Essentials?
Other than a badly behaving AV programme I can't think of why your system isn't returning any finished work.

I'd suggest leaving the system up for several hours. If it isn't reporting & requesting new work every 20min or less, manually Update after a few WUs have been completed & check to see the response in the Event Log to see that they are being reported.

I found AVG it is running. I removed and then re-added SETI and it had reported the task I just ran.

Thank you for the help.

Premature celebration. Still wu's are disappearing. All done units gone, except the very first one.

Both your computers are showing work in progress.
So a silly thought, on the "tasks" tab there is a button that toggles between "show all tasks" and "show only active tasks" - try toggling that and see what happens.
