I'd stay away from consumer grade Hard Drives... Read my Thread about Hard Drive Quality... While more expensive; go with a Samsung SSD. Without going m.2, the best Samsung SSD is the 860 Pro but it's about $250 on Amazon right now for 512 GB of storage. There is a less expensive model; about $125, but I'm unsure of the quality difference between the cheaper 512 GB and the 860 Pro.

With a new 860 Pro in my dad's ASUS Laptop, the system boots, from power up, to the Login Screen IN 4 SECONDS!!! :-O Just FRAKKING amazing! :-D From my recent research on SSDs, Samsung has the best reputation and quality. I'm now saving for two 860 Pro SSDs, one for the Hackintosh Drive, and one for my Win 7 Pro x64 Drive. I'm hoping to have the money for this endeavor in the next year and a half, as my old Hackintosh Drive DIED in TWO YEARS' TIME! :-O

A DVD Copy of Win 10 Pro x64 can be had for about $136 + Tax at my local computer place. Check Amazon and see what they sell it for.

[EDIT:]

Also, depending on the configuration of your Tower, you may need a mounting bracket for the SSD. These can be found for $5-$10 for a good bracket set.
