Hi all,

I have 4 raspberry pi's running with the seti project on it.
The problem that I have is that when I check out the seti website , I choose the section to see my computers.
There I see all my raspberry pi's, but only one raspberry gets points ?

Any idea someone ?

Thanks

What I can see is that the one with credit is returning work. One of the other Pi's has returned one task and all the rest of its tasks were abandoned. Since that time it's had a couple more tasks but not yet returned any of them. Considering the 109,231 second run time, that's 30 hours+. All the new work you had since March 1st cannot be returned yet for that device, as it's just March 2nd.

This one was created on March 1st and got work then, so it too won't have returned any tasks.
The same story here.

Are you running the Pi's as is? Without a heat sink and fan? If you do, they'll certainly be overheating.
You may want to consider setting BOINC not to run on all cores, but just on two.
Get cooling.
Make sure you are using a certified 2.5 Amps power supply, the lower ones may not be adequate to power the Pi when under full load.

Hi Jord.

Thank you for answering my question.
All raspberry pi's are running at 85% of cpu , all cpu's have a heatsinc but not a coolingfan, I just added 2 big fans.

The powersupply for the raspberry's is a 100 watt and each slot gives 2.5amp's.

I will keep an eye on everything and maybe I will log my temperatures ;)
Thanks for replying ;)

Have a nice weekend

Kris

See? All of them have returned one or more tasks by now. Depending on what kind of task and which application used, the tasks run faster than the 109K seconds I pointed out at first. So looks like you're set. Congrats.

Thanks ;)

The temperature is now around 31°Celcius when cpu is nonstop 85% of use ;)
Thank you again for the support ;)

Bedankt

How did you manage to reduce the temp? I’m running into the issue of my pis fluttering around 85 degrees and looking to cool them down.
