You people must suffering that funny problem again as everything has been is going fine here. No funny problem here. The server was not sending any work for awhile. I am getting work now. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

You people must suffering that funny problem again as everything has been is going fine here. The broken application settings issue. Some people suffer from it, others don't. It had been in abeyance for some time. Grant Darwin NT |

You people must suffering that funny problem again as everything has been is going fine here. No, we just choose to suffer from later BOINC versions than you Wiggo. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

30-40min worth of work left to split, then the Ready-to-send buffer, then time for a rest. Grant Darwin NT |

Have had pretty good luck pulling Long and Short ACEMD tasks from GPUGrid this week. Those tie up a gpu for several hours apiece. There is always Einstein for backup. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

If there's no Seti, i'm happy to cut back on my power bill for a while. I thought going over $800 was bad enough. Grant Darwin NT |

One good thing about running out of work, the deletion backlog should clear. So when the splitters come back on line they should be able to crank out plenty of work. Grant Darwin NT |

Does anyone know the length of time from when a 'tape' from Green Bank arrives via Internet2 before it is loaded on the splitters? I know Eric said in the past that there is pre-processing tha needs to be on each 'tape' How long does that normally take? It seems someone has managed to mount a single tape, thanks to whoever that was, sadly that will not last very long ... Stephen :( |
