White Russians? Preparations for a Cold War evidently ongoing. Very cold. |

That second picture makes me wonder how much they learnt from WW2 and the Murmansk convoys. My Grandfather (RN 35 years, both WW's) said that, most of the time they were in Artic waters they would be out smashing the ice, so that they didn't become top heavy and roll over. |

That second picture makes me wonder how much they learnt from WW2 and the Murmansk convoys. Yes. But the boat depicted whas moored in the harbor when the weather was very humid and cold. Like this boat from Michigan. |

So that Russian ship isn't going to immediately ready to leave port and deal with those pesky Swedes close offshore in the Baltic. |

Hehe:) Don't think so because the weather in the Baltic Sea is not that cold anymore and the ice would propably melt quickly. And if they thought that it could be a good camouflage to perhaps look like an iceberg they are mistaken. They would immediately be spotted since there has never been any iceberg in the Baltic Sea floating around. The Russians know this as well. |

Aydar Bakiyev, from Russia’s gas capital Novy Urengoy, didn’t have enough money for a Lamborghini, so he gave his Lada a makeover instead. Meanwhile in Novosibirsk we can see the extremely cool - and coldest - Geländewagen in the world. This luxurious off-roader - constructed from 6 tons of ice - was put together by the experimental car tuning wizards at Garazh 54 in two weeks. http://siberiantimes.com/other/others/news/meet-the-ladaborghini-and-an-extremely-cool-mercedes-gelandewagen-made-of-ice/ |

Simon Nilsson from Strömsund jumped into the snow during a scooter ride in Borgafjäll in Västerbotten County. He completely disappeared. "Maybe I had 50 centimeters from the head to the snow surface," he says. https://www.svt.se/nyheter/lokalt/jamtland/se-simon-forsvinna-ner-i-tva-meter-djup-sno |

My country's federal, provincial and municipal building codes are very strict, especially in regard to emergency doors. Apr 3, 1999 - May 3, 2020 |
