Since we've been posting only rarely, I've decided to go into my reserves. This photo was taken in 1973, iirc. It's the Concho River in San Angelo, Texas. I wish it were a little more in focus. I enjoyed the reflection caused by how the branch just touched the water.

The photos are lovely, people! :) Thank you for sharing them with us.

There's one I keep wanting to take, but the last time I was in the actual vicinity of it, I didn't have anything with me to record the image on, other than my brain,
which is I expect, why I'm here talking about it now. And the last too many times I did have a device on me to do so with, I stupidly wasn't able to manage the
walk to it. Still, hopefully one day soon :) In the meantime, I'll just continue to enjoy the fruits of everyone else's labours.

uh-oh edit: I'm back to having to scroll far right to proof-read myself, so I will do some line-downs so others don't have to

Here's three from recent days:

Now, what sort of trouble can I cause now???

Nearly Full Moon, just as the sun was setting, hence the blue sky and front-lit clouds

The last two shots are hand-held at 450mm!

Thanks guys
The canal shot was taken this morning inside the marina, and it was just by chance that the boat was going under the bridge just as the Sun started to break through and the fog lifted a little.

It is a bright and sunny spring day here in south London

I can always tell when spring is here when the tree outside my kitchen window explodes with bloom!!

I went for a walk in the park to get a few pictures.

The old water tower looks good surrounded with blossom.

However most of the trees are still to get their leaves and make great silhouettes against the sun.

Although a close look reveals the leaves are on the way.

And even my much maligned home town looks better on a sunny spring Sunday.

Very nice shots.

Reminds me of when I was young and the town we lived in at the time hade several roads that had cherry trees along them, one in particular was always very impressive when the blossoms all came out.
