I don't know about the crowd, but it looks like those in the parade are having a great time.

That's like this town here, they party about everything it seems like every weekend.
Well it's good for the town which gets them into store and the wine tasting shops.
at least it's not a Ho Hum town with nothing to do.

We all had a very good time, yes.
The atmosphere was just great.
Needless to say a lot of alcohol has been consumed.
I only had one beer.

Well as luck has it, I lost my cell phone the other day
and I was going crazy looking for it. tried to call it but know one answered.

Called the phone company to trace it still no luck, so as a last ditch effort I called again and this women answered. someone found it at Safeway Super Market. I'm so glad someone turned it in. the battery was down to 6%, man was I lucky.

I really like my Iphone so pockets with velcro to seal them is next on my orderto do list. LOL

it's charging now but was looking at those flowers and they aren't the same but I'll send them in a bit GNU

Grant, my latest multi-pocket 'tradies' work shorts have a special pocket with velcro strap just for those phones (they're also come in trousers), but I use that pocket for my tobacco as I don't have a mobile.

Cheers.

I have had coasts with a few like that but they seem to be making sweats smaller pockets these days and things fall out. I ware them most of the time around here.

another thing Wiggo is the rope in sweats having to tie knots all the time
I just bought some paracord clips so I can adjust them easier. I just did as pair last night. it holds
paracord Seems to be okay so far. I too need one of those extra pockets also.

I still use a belt Grant as it's easy just to slip on my camera and penknife pouches on while hanging my keys off a belt loop. ;-)

Cheers.

Daffodils are out in full, my GF would love them when she was here.
I think we planted about 300 of them 3 years ago.

Wish she was here to enjoy them.

It may not be a flower, but it is a gem!
Both Jeeps are out in the weather, but Juggernaught is warm and safe in the garage.

Daffodils:) At last springtime.

I wander'd lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils,
Beside the lake, beneath the trees
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretch'd in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee: -
A poet could not but be gay
In such a jocund company!
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought.

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills
And dances with the daffodils.

Looking better than the last time you posted it.

Hehe:) I'm in a springtime mood and that poem just popped up when I googled Daffodil.
Here they are called PÃ¥sklilja "Easter Lily".

And GNU has has some nice shots of Snowdrops "Snödroppar" which make me think of another poem this one by Karin Boye.

Yes, of course it hurts when buds are breaking.
Why else would the springtime falter?
Why would all our ardent longing
bind itself in frozen, bitter pallor?
After all, the bud was covered all the winter.
What new thing is it that bursts and wears?
Yes, of course it hurts when buds are breaking,
hurts for that which grows
and that which bars.

Yes, it is hard when drops are falling.
Trembling with fear, and heavy hanging,
cleaving to the twig, and swelling, sliding -
weight draws them down, though they go on clinging.
Hard to be uncertain, afraid and divided,
hard to feel the depths attract and call,
yet sit fast and merely tremble -
hard to want to stay
and want to fall.

Then, when things are worst and nothing helps
the tree's buds break as in rejoicing,
then, when no fear holds back any longer,
down in glitter go the twig's drops plunging,
forget that they were frightened by the new,
forget their fear before the flight unfurled -
feel for a second their greatest safety,
rest in that trust
that creates the world.
