Tis only 07:30 in Berleley, my guess, and it is only a guess is that maintaintence probably will start later today as the database is so fragile. |

Christmas hangover, give them some time for coffee & aspirins first. Take them a bit of time to realize today isn't Monday. |

Wish they would have advised us last week that the outage would be postponed one day. Wouldn't have had to worry about bunkering last night. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Christmas hangover, give them some time for coffee & aspirins first. . . It isn't ??? . . Well it is now 09:30 AEDT (22:30 UTC or 14:30 Berkeley) the time an outage would normally be ending and it hasn't happened so I am guessing it has been re-scheduled. Funny thing is I slept OK :) . . Still less than certain about anything :) [edit] . . OK, saw that the "Bulletin" board was updated, about half an hour after I had reached that conclusion and gone to bed. Is this "just in time" management then? :) Stephen ?? |

Wish they would have advised us last week that the outage would be postponed one day. Wouldn't have had to worry about bunkering last night. . .24 hours earlier that would have been significant, now it is late news. . . But nice to have confirmation anyway :) I say that without rancour, just a hint of irony :) Stephen :) |

I remember the news articles when it was passing through the system that everyone was listening to it since it appears to be of interstellar origin. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Look what has appeared in the SSP; . . Wouldn't it be wonderful, fascinating and exciting if it were to be radio-active, as opposed to radioactive :) Stephen :) |

First request after the outage, 102 tasks. Second request another 18. . . May I ask? Are you running tasks singly or as doubles on your GPU? Stephen ?? |

Oh, and whatever you do, don't say the words "Linux", or "special sauce" to me. But we don't want our "soapbox podium" to go unused ;-} Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Is there a statistic page somewhere that shows the number of Windows 32bit clients attached to the project? I was wondering how much of an impact that Nvidia's announcement that they are ceasing 32 bit driver support will have on this project. Also the same applies for the cessation of 32bit support for Linux too. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |
