I usually have a full queue on tap (100 CPU + 200 GPU) and I shot through all of it in less than 24 hrs., with the last one u/l'ed at 09:00 this morning. When I went to bed at @ 01:30 this morning BOINC TASKS said I had 1 day each of processing left in the queue for both the CPU & GPUs. When I got up @ 09:30 this morning, I did a manual update and nothing came back, the d/l buffers were empty. I just have to wait until I'm lucky enough to catch the d/l buffers when they have something in them. We need to up the max tasks for both CPU & GPU. I liked it better when we utilized the x number of days + x number of additional days for the queues.

Jeff - I too would blame the mountains as they obviously gave you a superb holiday.
Glad to see you are back.

They were late last week too. Started right around this time I think ...

. . FTR ... Last week start @ 11:50pm local (1:50pm UTC)
. . . . . . . . .This week start @ 1:15am local (3:15pm UTC)

. . . But my biggest woe is that after totally running out of work I am now getting "Project has no tasks" :(

Work is flowing again..........
So much so that RTS is about to run out.
Then it's gonna be luck of the draw until the splitters can once again fill all the hungry mouths.
So,,,,,,,,,don't be surprised if there are a lot of 'no work available' replies from the servers until RTS starts to refill.

Meow.

Just because it was brought up the other day....
Three of my Hosts ran outta work last night, fortunately I have a couple other Hosts.
However, the Hosts were basically empty when I got around to running them again. This is how they were treated when started;

No problem sending tasks when the Server wants to, but at other times, the Server will simply ignore sending any tasks when 2 to 4 are reported every 5 minutes.

I sure would like to know the magic setting to get more than 20 tasks at a time. I was out of tasks on all four machines this morning before the project came back online. The most I ever got on any machine was a 22 task download. The rest were bits and bites of 9, 11,14, 16 etc. etc.

Yes, I haven't been able to get any work on the Linux box for a couple of hours now. I'm down to under a 100 gpu tasks. I should have a cache of 300.

I either am getting the "Your computer has reached a limit of tasks in progress"

or the "The project has no tasks available" message. I have tried the flipping of applications and TBar method of hitting update 3 times rapidly just as the computer requests work and nothing has persuaded the scheduler to send me work.
