The politicians need to offset the population loss from all the expected gun deaths. A few million unwanted babies should do that. A disproportionate number will also become criminals due to being unwanted, thus more money for the police and courts. It's a win-win...

Another fact on that personal experience.
On the 3rd birth, that breeding factory was informed by the doctors, not have any more children as next time, it may kill you.
So it buggers off to live in England.
New doctors, new medical record.
4th birth, she ended up hemorrhaging & nearly died.
Still went on to have another 4.

I was astounded by how often patients were turned away from emergency rooms and their doctor’s offices in the middle of their miscarriages. No wonder Alabama has the third-highest maternal mortality rate in the nation, I initially thought. People are denied urgent medical attention outright, which left me wondering at first if health care providers were simply negligent and not keeping up with their medical education. Or was this lack of care a reflection of discrimination? Eventually, I landed on discrimination as the cause.

Medical providers who treat pregnancy-related issues in red states exist in a constant state of fear of performing any procedure that can be classified as an abortion—even while the procedures remain legal. We know that we face the risk of being prosecuted, having our licenses revoked, or even being thrown in jail if we fail to precisely follow every regulation, no matter how arcane or medically unnecessary it is. (We can be cited if the clinic’s janitor’s closet isn’t the size deemed appropriate by the state, for example.)

You expect a doctor to risk loss of their medical license and jail time? Hah. Not in a for-profit health system at least.

I died twice in 59, only for a minute or 2 each time.
For years afterwards, the religious nutjob told everyone that I had a new soul as my last 2 went to heaven.
I kid you not, I had to endure that crap for over 3 decades. :-(

Until starting secondary school, I had to take my sisters to church every Sunday & had no choice.
From secondary school days, never entered a church (exceptions - weddings, christenings & funerals).
Every Sunday for a few months the arguments were loud until the old man interfered & TOLD me I'm going to church.
