Back in the days of no air and all you had was a fan, After getting off work I would fill the tub with 68-70 ºF to get my core temp down first. Then hit the beer big time. LOL That actually sounds like a great idea. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

My last beer last year sometime was a import. A St. Pauli Girl bottle. Edit: The last Budweiser I had was last year or the year before. It made a for a good sandwich. I made beer bread. It is easy to make. Just let it get room temperature before mixing it with self rising flour and sugar. Then pop it in the oven. |

There are two brands of Budweiser on the market. One from the Czech Republic, real beer, and one from the US, fake beer. Oh. Its Denmark's National Day today. All lager yeast comes from Carlsberg:) They have the yeast stored in a refrigerated strongbox! Det er dejligt. Skål! |

Historically, beer brewing was an unpredictable art that often resulted in non-drinkable beer due to the so-called beer disease. In 1883, Carlsberg's research laboratory revolutionized the history of the beer, through the discovery of the pure yeast that made it possible to create quality beer at each brewing. Due to the prevailing beer disease, Carlsberg gave away the yeast, "Saccharomyces Carlsbergensis", to other brewers - and today the vast majority of world-wide beer is derived from this discovery. (Not to Bud though) "Without the discovery of the pure yeast, this type of beer, which now makes up 90 percent of the world's beer market, could not exist," said British beer historian Martyn Cornell. https://carlsbergsverige.se/newsroom/carlsbergs-laboratorium-har-aaterskapat-historisk-oel-fraan-1883/ Skål:) |

Good morning everyone, from a very foggy and frosty morning in the highlands down under. Well if it doesn't start warming up here soon Beer O'clock may have to be replaced by Rum O'clock today, but there's still 2hrs to go yet. Cheers. |

Well we made it to double digits (11C) and it's nice out in the sunshine (so long as you stay out of the very chilly wind) so Beer O'clock has commenced. :-) Cheers. |

Beer please. Poured down my throat with a funnel..... Under the streets of the medieval Belgian city of Bruges, a full two-mile pipeline is being built -- exclusively for beer. http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/15/travel/bruges-beer-pipeline/index.html |

Sunday obligations here commence in under 2hrs, the beer is cold and waiting. ;-) It's also a long weekend here so I can let my hair down today (eldest daughter is also away so I don't have to worry about her sneaking up behind me with scissors, a double win). :-D Cheers. |
