pretty hot here while I was gone, 102 to 104 but it's down in the 90's for a few days and then back up.
all the rain last winter making the under growth heavy is showing in fires.
Utah had a fire and the smoke we could see high in the mountains 200 miles away.

it was nice to open the window in the morning and see Pikes Peak snow caped in the morning.

don't think I'll ever get to go back, the elevation was 8314 feet.

We have smoke, though no mirrors here, hot temps, 102 - 104, seems like normal here, at least it used to be, now more like 105 - 109F for the week ahead, current temp?

84.7F, heat index of 81F, yesterday 105.1F, today 105F is predicted. I need a bigger a/c unit than 10,000 BTU, or a move to Big Bear asap, Crestline is too expensive, ugh.

Only Big Bear and such are getting any rain around here, if I could, I'd move there, but I will have to see to that if and when SB-3 and/or maybe SB-2 passes and is signed by Gov Brown. SB-3 is for low and very low income people, and I think has to do with down payments, I'd just need about 81% down on one place, plus money for moving and utility deposits, and then as soon as escrow was over I'd be out of here...

I tried sleeping in My bedroom last night, got tired of getting up and such, it was too hot in there, so I went to the living room sofa, laid back in the recliner asleep for 3 hours w/a comforter on top of Me, got to get a real sofa bed asap, but that means testing how My body likes one, for 15 mins each. And not bothering with any that have foam, I overheat with foam.

Only two inches of rain so far for July, so I guess I'll go outside tomorrow and water some things.

75°F/24°C. Fairly cloudy. Humidity = 84%. Two heavy showers, late afternoon. Down to 69°F, tonight.
I hate to make this kind of entry, what with everyone, out west, coping with that heat. Even Seattle, where
I used to live, in the 60's, is in the 80's. Crazy world.
