Hmph.....
Tomorrow's forcast is one of a fair bit of snow, which will bring out the stupid drivers. By the standards of some places 8" is nothing but for others it far too much. For me it's just a pain as I've got a couple of cross country journies to do, and one of them is a 'dawn raid'....

Well November gave us 5 inches of rain but this month we haven't got a drop.
well this is suppose to be our wet season or we will end up like LA.
We had enough fires this year around here but LA is in a world of hurt.
we lost about 7100 homes not counting LA's earlier fire.

At a news conference on one of those fires, the weather man said no rain for at least three weeks. That puts into January.

That news spells trouble down there, ours here the rain cane about 2 days later after it was burning like hell. we were told to get ready to get out of town.
we had fires on two sides of town.

A lot of animals died in this LA fire so far.

Sad to think of that.

It was -6 when I went out to start the car this morning, "warmed up" to -5 as I set off along the road, dropped to -7 "mid flight", then rose to a balmy -3 as I drove onto the snow packed car park at work. I really should have picked up my sun glasses because it is REALLY bright out there and I've got to go and collect some visitors in about an hour's time. (I'm not going to take the pool car as it is still buried in its personal snow drift and mine is nice, warm and snow free)

Be glad the Gulf Stream current in the Atlantic is still there, or there would be another Ice Age, minus temps like that would be no more eventually, how fast? I don't know, that is beyond My acquired knowledge.

...well it isn't Kelvin and I don't use Fahrenheit unless I have to (of course Fahrenheit was developed by a Dutchman so isn't British).

Chris years ago I went to Yorkshire in UK at Christmas time and the friends had a bathroom in the back yard which I had to take a propane torch to melt the ice in the pipes to use the toilet. LOL

Also the gas stove had a coin box on the gas line to pay for the gas, do they still do that?

19°F/-7°C. Humidity = 45%. Down to 10°F, tonight. We are experiencing a biting cold that penetrates clothing, so have added
a heavy wool sweater beneath the parka.

I found a place in Pomona CA, that if SB-3 passes in 2018, could be an example of My next place, and such a place comes with its own land, I'd be in this case 3 miles by car from My relatives, and it would be warmer in the Winter too, right now it's 71F in Pomona(50F), in Yermo the temp is 62F(36F), which would be better for My asthma.
