So, dark humor (a la the U.S. show "M*A*S*H*") is never to be appreciated?

M*A*S*H* in the eyes of many on this side of the pond, probably the only US TV show that is appreciated.

Because it's cheap and can be understood by youngsters.

Not been appreciated here, didn't watch much of the TV coverage.
Couldn't help but wonder how a supposedly educated country could have picked two bad candidates, not that any of the other also-rans were any better and they chose the worst of the lot.
Still suppose that's what you get when it is all about money and TV coverage. When you also consider that everything on TV is aimed at the C2/D social levels with some hopes of catching some of the C1's, knowing that in the main part the A's and B's will work out their own preferences.

communism *is* repressive.

So what if it is? Oh, that's right, in your topsy turvy view of the world Clinton and all her supporters are communists. Given that facts don't matter, there's no arguing against your view.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Uhhh ... which definition of communism are you using, Bobby? I've always understood it as the extreme, totalitarian version of socialism. I do view communism as repressive.
Surely, Guy though, thinks socialism is communism is socialism. Or that socialism is the extreme, totalitarian version of communism,

Not quite, someone tipexed the last 2 letters: "OT"

"Tipexed"?

For those academics who demand perfection: White Correction Fluid

We just call it "Correction Fluid". And type much then spell/grammar check.
I'll be[t] this is like "facial tissues" and "Kleenex", a generic product taking on the name of a specific brand of it.
If Ivanka gets into office products, it may become Trumpex. Or Kushex. And isn't Kush a type of weed?

Correction: we also call it "white out".

Maybe Trump should take some pointers, and shut down the US government every Tuesday and work out bugs and perform upgrades.

Interesting, but I think our atheist president won't even taken a Saturday or Sunday off.

tRump to speed Federal government expansion, is spending $20 billion additional starting now, without congressional authoriztion.
Calling additionally to immediately add 15,000 armed agents to Federal Government. Agents to be tasked to ensure that local laws, States Rights, are suppressed in deference of Federal Law.

Yes Gary. It's time to install an oppressive force to "restore the rule of law" in our inner cities. I'm sure shortly after will start the major civil rights violations, which will catalyze riots, and where it goes from there...

Yes, but a majority of America just voted against socialism.

I know, and he would have won that popular vote if it wasn't for all that widespread voter fraud too.

Only about 50% of the "majority of America" voted!
