Hope it goes well.

Thanks Carlos.

I got a free movie ticket from an M&M promo, I still have to print it out, the ticket is good until 03/31/2017, I think on the 17th after My scan, I think I'll use it then on the way home, and go see Rogue One in Victorville, all cause I bought 3 packs of M&M's a while back, they were great. The ticket is good up to $12.00 total, anything more would fall on Me, I can't use the ticket in Barstow of course, as there are no participating movie theaters in Barstow.

Scientists discover lasers turn mice into vicious killers

Using lasers, scientists found they could activate and deactivate certain neurons, turning docile mice into "ferocious hunters." A study from Yale says this may clue people in to how predatory behavior has evolved over time.

One very lucky tourist.
A tourist has had a very lucky break, spotted drifting on a surfboard off the Australian coast nearly 6 kilometres offshore.
Luckily, the eagle-eyed crew of the 300-metre long container ship MSC Damla spotted the man on top of his rented yellow surfboard.
...
Police said there was no active search conducted for the man, as he was not reported missing.
"This incident is a reminder of the need to let people know your plans before setting out, as well as the importance of knowing local conditions," a spokesperson from Surf Life Saving NSW said.

I got a call today, turns out the imaging center had moved into a new building, My Doctor's Office did not know of this, I've adjusted My travel for the 17th, the difference is 0.4 miles less than before, I know big deal, but at least I know where I need to go.

Winner of the latest Living Darwin Awards: Boston man tries to ‘fill scuba tank with weed smoke’; loses [man parts]

September 19, 2016

A 27-year old Boston local has suffered extensive injuries to his lower body after an unconventional attempt to ‘fill a scuba tank with weed smoke’ failed spectacularly last Thursday night. According to the testimony of several witnesses, Michael Fitzpatrick had consumed a copious quantity of alcohol before making the decision to demonstrate the home-made device.

... His condition has now been downgraded from ‘critical’ to ‘serious’, but medical staff announced they’d been unable to save his [man parts] which had been ‘cleanly severed’ by a shard of metal.

... The young man faces a long recovery, but his associates shared their optimism that he would pull through. “He’s one of the toughest guys I know,” commented one of Mr Fitzpatrick’s friends. “He’ll take the fact he won’t be able to have kids pretty hard, though.”

I've done some stupid stuff over my lifetime. If I were to remove myself from the gene pool. I would prefer the rest of me to be out too.

I feel terrible this morning, drained even, but, that will pass, ugh, 3 trips, and I haven't been anywhere today, yesterday I managed to get the car filled up, getting to the top is not easy, I still need to install the new rear struts in My car, until then filling the gas tank to the full mark means stop, start, stop, start, and I'm not doing the stopping, the gas pump is. I think I need a nap.

I've been having the same problem on my '99 Saturn SC1. The pump keeps cutting off. I can't set it and leave it anymore. Very weird.

stop/start cycling of fuel pumps is due to fuel droplets being carried into the sensor pipe on the nozzle, most (all?) cars will do this when getting close to the top of the tank. If it's worse than it used to be then it may be that the fuel company has changed one of the additives they put in and that is causing the fuel to froth more and which will trigger the sensor. We get this a lot with diesel fuel when the fuel companies are changing over from their summer blends to the winter blends, but I doubt that would be the case with gasoline now you are well into winter.

Yesterday I went and got some fuel, at night, due to a medical problem of mine, anyway I usually pin the fuel hose wide open, after a couple stops and such, I tried something different, I slowed down the flow of 87 octane gasoline, that took longer, but I was able to get to the full mark, I was only putting in 8 gallons, the gas gauge said I had about 1/8 of a tank, since the tank is supposedly 12.7 or 12.8 gallons(depending on the source cited), I must have had 4 in the tank already, it's that or I have less capacity than I thought, or the gauge like the tach needs replacing with the speedo assembly that I bought a while back. No matter what, it's enough to go to Corona and back.

Ok It took Me almost 2 hours to get to Corona CA from Yermo, then after a bite to eat at the Jack in the Box in Corona after I had had the scan(I had to fast before going there, so I was hungry), I headed home from Corona Advanced Imaging, this took longer, since the i15 fwy in Barstow has a lane closure going North bound(could the lane closure have been done at night? I don't know.), it was about 2.5 hours to get home, in any case I had a CT scan with contrast(dye) injected into My bloodstream, I'll know more in February, since that is most likely when I'll be able to get an appointment to see My Doctor.

Car fuel gauges are notoriously inaccurate, an"eighth of a tank" could be anywhere from "almost empty" to "nearly half a tank" thus getting 8 gallons into a twelve gallon tank showing an eighth is not unreasonable.

‘Ice cream killer’ is so dangerous, she’s headed to a men’s prison

Watch out, guys!

An Austrian femme fatale known as the “Ice Cream Killer” will have plenty of new men to choose from at her new lockdown.

Estibaliz Carranza, 38, will be transferred to an all-male prison because she’s too dangerous to be locked up at a women’s facility, but authorities might be playing right into her hands.

The maniacal murderess has a history of luring men into her web and then killing and slicing up their bodies with a chainsaw.
