Message 1837668 - Posted: 24 Dec 2016, 8:55:58 UTC

May I just say.

Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, winter solstice holiday, practised within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice a religion at all;

Additionally, a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2017, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions have helped make our society great, without regard to the race, creed, colour, religious, or sexual preferences of the wishes.

(Disclaimer: This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others and no responsibility for any unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit.)

Bernie.

A Seal for Christmas?
"Newstead is about 50 kilometres from the sea.
The seal is believed to have found its way into the street from a nearby waterway."

Ok I just got back from the Barstow Community Hospital ER, where I had some blood and urine samples taken, plus I had a Cat Scan, they found growths on both of My kidneys, the smaller growth is on the left, the bigger is on the right, plus they found blood in My urine, gave Me something for the intense pain, along w/an iv drip of saline solution(weird way to get a drink), I was alternating between higher temp and I gather normal, since I was sweating and then not sweating, plus they said My potassium was low and gave Me 2 potassium pills, with some water, I was advised to call My Doctor and setup an appointment asap(Monday, but they closed then), for urologist, so I did that, on the way there I had to stop the car near the Barstow Rd exit doubled over in intense pain and I almost felt like puking.

These 2 growths could be: benign, tumor, or cancer... I was told.

I'm hoping for Benign.

Then I went to buy some extra strength Tylenol 650mg, bananas, and some crackers(Chicken in a Biskit, by Nabisco), then I went home and fed Grace, and I'm doing some laundry.

And Grace tossed Her cookies before I came home, in the living room, lovely...

Rest and take care Vic. :)

She was probably worried about you.

Yeah the pills are Yuge! I tried swallowing both at once, spit one out before it dissolved, then swallowed both after they started dissolve, a horse I'm not.

Grace does that, She has the sofa bracketed, I cleaned up the one on the countertop yesterday, no matter the vacuum cleaner will get most of them, when I get some more energy. And I'll get the rest with some paper towels and Woolite carpet/fabric cleaner meant for Pets.

It rained here, got enough to wet the rocks, more to come...

I've got 2 DiGiorno pizza's, one for the 1st, and one for the 2nd in the freezer. With stuffed cheese crust, yeah they're pepperoni, and one with almost everything, $7.49ea, ouch.

I got a nice surprise later after I got home from the BCH ER, My cable bill dropped from the expected $113.30, to $98.70, I saved $14.60 per month(probably for a whole year, and probably a last XMAS gift from TWC, as they're becoming Spectrum), and My internet speed went from 30/5 to 100/10.

At least I don't feel like yesterday or this morning, at a few points I felt like I was about to hurl, I don't like that, I want to out live My 83yr old cousin.

That's pretty cool. How in the world did you manage to get that?

Victor........
I do hope the medical situation turns out to be minor.

I have not been to the doc in more than a year, and I am not sure I wanna.
Dr. Gunderson will probably, once again, read me the riot act for my lifestyle.
She has told me before, I do almost everything wrong.
But I convinced the nurses to refill my BP meds, as I had run out.
And they thought keeping that at least partially in check was better than withholding my meds because I did not wish to schedule an appointment.
Walgreens was not getting anywhere, so I did finally have to make a call to the clinic and ask them to get the dang thing done.
I had my meds in hand twenty minutes later, which includes a 15 minute drive.

I think somebody used the term 'stat' to the pharmacy.

That's pretty cool. How in the world did you manage to get that?

A couple of days back I called TWC to ask about some Spectrum info on My bill, on the Internet side, then the person I talked to got Me a lower rate, and the area had been upgraded for MAXX service while under TWC, and TWC did say people would get a speed upgrade at no extra cost, first I had to have an old TWC deal closed, which made the bill go from $109.68 to $113.30, then today $98.70, the bill is paid now, so in a way it's the last TWC deal, Spectrum(Charter) won't do that, but then I'm a previous Charter customer(up to 2004), TWC now is Spectrum here, building has new signage and new trucks are showing up. At least My TWC box and remote that I like are staying. :)

My black sb6183 modem can handle anything Spectrum can currently throw at it(osprey firmware, updated by TWC months back), some have seen as high as 424/25, I'm getting about 118/10...

Another useless patent... Microsoft Sees A Future Where Augmented Reality Can Find Lost Keys

We’re sure we’ve all been in that situation where you search high and low for something, like your watch, keys, wallet, or glasses, only to realize after an exhaustive and frustrating search that they were right in front of you, and in your haste simply missed them. Those problems could one day be a thing of the past, according to a patent filed by Microsoft.

Having those symptoms, I would think I had a kidney stone. Scans showing growths are a little more scary.

Agreed David, stones could be blown away, this no, My sister in law the retired RN, said it could be a cyst. Though WebMD says they form within the kidneys, so I don't think this is that. But We'll see what a biopsy says, to be sure.

Today I'm not in pain, the reason for the cat scan is cause I said I'd had this pain before, about a year before. That CT scan machine looks sort of like an MRI machine, just smaller, I fit though.
