He should be told that "you have the right to ..." and then have explained that operating a vehicle while eating is reckless driving ... and you can't profit off a criminal action ... case dismissed.

On My gas furnace, the pilot was off, and with a power outage, My pilot seems to
be liable to go out, since My pilot will not reignite on its own, that would
require a whole new system I'm told, in any case the furnace now works again, it
only cost Me $75.00 to get this done too.

Now I just have a small fly problem, I've killed at least 5 of them today, I still need a new window here, as soon as I kill one, another comes right in thru My closed window... Which might cost $330.00 to replace, $235 more on My card and I could do that. Probably from some dog poop outside, nope the yard is not fenced, and I don't have a dog, some dog just decided My place was a good spot... I had a $5.05 Amazon credit, so I bought a garden shovel to pick up the poop with(in case there is more than one) for $4.69 w/FREE shipping.

@ Lynn: Nope, not a peep.

How did you get that? I thought you had to spend over $35 in an order, or have Prime.

A seller offered free shipping, no prime or Amazon involvement, some do that.

That's cool. I actually did the free 30 day trial of Prime recently and got a couple things expedited free, but I wouldn't pay the annual fee they want for that perk.

Last year I did the free trial because I needed something shipped fast. With one day left, I binge watched Stargate SG1 episodes that I hadn't seen or wanted to see again. I got a much better understanding of the overall flow of the series.

Something a little different. This is just for anyone in the UK

There is a company in the UK called Sam Knows that provides information about broaband providers.

In 2008 SamKnows was awarded a contract by Ofcom, the UK's telecoms regulator, to begin a new project researching and collecting accurate data on fixed-line broadband speeds.

Average broadband speeds across the UK have improved dramatically since the first study, and we're now working on exciting new metrics to capture various aspects of broadband performance.

We hope the project will continue to grow and develop. Thanks to the efforts of the ISPs and our volunteers, we hope to continue testing and improving the state of broadband in the UK.

I have been one of the volunteers for several years now. What happens is they send you a "Sam Knows" whitebox (mine is a TP-Link router) that has their software on. It is wired between your PC's and the ISP router, it collects information on a daily basis about up and downstream throughput, latencey and packet loss and reports them to Ofcom, also each month you get an e-mail so you can see how your broadband has performed.

I have just had an e-mail asking if I know anyone who might be interested in joining. If so apply

HERE

NOTE this is only for UK broadband and all those that apply may not be selected.

Here in Australia there's a website (http://www.adsl2exchanges.com.au/) that's not widely known that relies on people submitting their sync speeds to give others an idea of what sort of speeds are available in various suburbs.

If I ever had a frog, He might eat a fly, yep I have a small baby fly, only 1, for the moment, I killed one, then its replacement showed up...

I need a new gas furnace(My Coleman furnace is 30 years old) and new weatherstripping around My front door...

I'm going to call SCE later, though I'm not sure I will get anywhere, mine stayed on for 7 minutes each time that the gas furnace was on, but at least it works, I asked the repair guy if there was anything wrong with My furnace, He said, yeah, it's old... Otherwise nothing is wrong with it, though if the power goes out, I will need to have the pilot relit, since Mine does not auto ignite the pilot flame.

I've tried, the furnace sucks in air and anything lit, gets snuffed out, I even bought a long lighter, that won't reach. My furnace is obsolete, replacement cost would be near $2,000.00, I was so disgusted with people saying one thing, that "they'd repair it", and then try and sell Me a new one instead, that I told most to get lost, as I saw it as bait and switch, that's dishonest, I did relent and get an estimate for $1,812.11, which was/is discounted from $2,000.00... And I don't have that much right now, that written estimate is for a 3 ton unit, this mobile home is a 1987 Fleetwood Westfield, Fleetwood, the factory that built My unit, went bankrupt in 2009, so there is no source of help or parts there, and the Fleetwood of today has no legal obligation to be of any help to Me. I bought this home in late 2006, and My name has been the only person on the title, ever since then. I did get the taxes I pay reduced, from $205.30 a year to $80.30 a year, which means My home is now(for tax purposes) worth $14,500.00, before it was worth $27,000.00, the worth went down by $12,500.00, which is fine by Me, I just wish I could move this home to its own land, but that takes money. But I digress.

Hurricane fighter-plane to take to skies at Scone Airport in tribute to NSW World War II pilot.

"Ross Pay, a restoration expert and pilot said the Hurricane was one of only a dozen working models left in existence, despite the Hurricane being one of the linchpin fighter-planes during World War II.
"The Hurricane is such an under-rated aeroplane" he said.
"During the Battle of Britain, the Hurricane shot down more enemy aircraft than the Spitfire."

The restorers said no other Hurricane had flown in Australia for more than 70 years...

[Rant]I'm scared the Trump administration will cut My meager benefits, currently I get $733 a month(in 2017, $735 per month, this is before the $156.40 per month in 2016, and $160.40 per month in 2017, the $160.40 might only last 6 months or it might be a permanent part of the SSP that California adds to My check(State Supplemental Payment, California is an expensive place to live at), Rep/House Speaker Paul Ryan(R-WI01) has wanted to cut SSI benefits in half since 2011, His successor as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee is Tom Price(R-GA06), Tom Price wants to do the same thing as Ryan wanted to do in 2011, I did not and am not guilty of fraud, or waste, or abuse, I was judged to be permanently disabled due to My medical records and unable to work. SSI is a $45 Billion a year program meant for Seniors, the Blind, and Disabled People, plus SSI was signed into law by President Richard Nixon in 1972, and except for the Saving limit(1989, changed from $1,500 to $2,000, for couples from $2,500 to $3,000), the rest of the rules and limits have not changed since 1972. And I might add, I did not use a lawyer or an attorney to get SSI, the SSI program is very strict, if SSI was easy to get, then anyone could get SSI...

I was at one time an Army Sharpshooter w/an honorable discharge, if it moved, I never missed(1 or 3 rounds, I also qualified on full auto too), if one was 600m(660 yards) away, killing one would have been really easy(I'm not a violent person, it was just that easy), I also shot at farther range, like 1200m(1320 yards, though that was a bit beyond the range of that round, like about 1 or 2 meters), but then I have concentration problems, which My Mom said was Tunnel Vision, She was right, I could do this with either side as I am ambidextrous. Oh and I do not own a weapon, it's just another thing to maintain that I clearly don't need or want. I only put this up as it serves as an example, oh and My Dad the WWII US Army Medic said He was proud of Me.

Cutting peoples benefits is a bad thing, people need what they get, just cause one isn't working anymore, doesn't mean real life stops, back in 2011 the proposed amount was 50%, capping benefits, then making the reduced SSI into a Block Grant for the States to manage with no strings attached, most states wouldn't be able to manage the money and the recipients, some states would just terminate benefits and use the new grants to offset tax cuts for the rich, like the KOCH's.

Some who are going to be a part of the new Trump Administration think people who get SSI, get $1,000.00 a month, I've never seen that amount come from the SSA, I wish I did get that much, what I do get is not really enough, if there are any cuts I could lose My ability to pay rent, and I'd be homeless, Grace would be back in a Shelter, and being almost 9 years old, would probably be put to sleep, some here wanted Me to get another cat.

In 6 years I plan to file for Social Security when I'm 62, what will I get then? $236.00 a month until I'm 70, then I might get $295, in addition to My SSI, maybe then I could afford a newer car(mine will be 18 years old in 2017), but with cuts I don't know, I was hoping to move My mobile home, but to do that I have to have an income, and personal loans are not inexpensive, so I'd need every dollar to do so, yet with cuts, moving would be out of reach, I'd be lucky if I could pay My rent, then how would I eat or pay for repairs to My car, I don't get Food Stamps, no SSI recipient in California has ever received Food Stamps and gotten SSI, this has been like this since 1974, CA has had a policy called "Cash Out", all SSI recipients get $10 in lieu of Food Stamps every month and have since 1974, California passed a Resolution called AJR-35 which was sent to Congress to stop Cash Out for those who get SSI only for those who live alone, why to Congress? Cause the USDA said No last time, the USDA wants CA to do like other states do, California wants to do no harm and a waiver, the USDA would not play ball, do I think AJR-35 will do anything? Nope, it'll probably see a shredder before it gets voted on...[/Rant]
