CHICAGO (WLS) -- The frigid air is making life miserable for many in the Chicago area. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory that will go into effect for the Chicago area at 9 p.m. Wednesday and expire at 10 a.m. Thursday. Wind chills could drop down 20 to 30 below zero Wednesday night. Schools will close also. It's cold. |

We gots 6 below zero f here right now. Had to fire up a couple of heaters to keep the kitties warm. The crunchers are not enough when it gets this wicked cold. Warms up a bit tomorrow.......up to 17f tomorrow in time for it to dump up to a foot of snow on us Friday night and Saturday. Then down to -13f Sunday night. Meowbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm having a strange problem with Weather Underground's website. A couple days ago, I stopped being able to see my personal weather radar or webcam, but I discovered the problem seems isolated to Internet Explorer, Edge, and Safari. It works fine on Chrome, but I haven't tried it on Firefox. Can a few people check and report back with your Browser's results? https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KKYLOUIS113 You'll see the Radar and Webcam tabs underneath the header: Status: Gordon's weather The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

First time I tried it, no luck. But I just reloaded and now the radar and webcam are there. Using Seamonkey 2.40, which is a derivative of Firefox, Mozilla based. Meow. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

First time I tried it, no luck. Interesting. Thanks, Mark. I suspect there must be some sort of plug-in or setting in the other browsers, like IE, Edge, Safari, that needs updating or something, but strange it suddenly has become an issue. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

First time I tried it, no luck. You might report it to the site and ask them if they recently made any changes to their site code........ "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

The radar is out, cam works great in FF, but then I'm having similar problems for Yermo CA weather. Below a certain point I see only a rainbow circle, cleared My cache too, that didn't help. On Chrome I don't get radar at all. |

Firefox - both radar and camera appear to be working - I'm not expecting to see any sunbathers on their way to skinny dip at -6C! Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |
