... Yes. People are STUPID...

Yes, some people can be described as being stupid, or as being stupid for their stupid actions.

However, it takes a gun to make someone deadly stupid...

There are deadly consequences with so many guns laying around the place...

Similarly, there are deadly consequences if there were lots of landmines laying around... Strangely? We don't do that?...

And then there's 3 Army soldiers, 9 others accused in gun trafficking ring.

Twelve people, including three U.S. Army soldiers, are accused in a large-scale gun trafficking ring that prosecutors allege supplied nearly 100 guns to gang members in Chicago and led to at least two killings, the Justice Department said Friday.

The soldiers — Demarcus Adams, 21; Jarius Brunson, 22; and Brandon Miller, 22 — were enlisted in the Army and stationed at Fort Campbell in Tennessee, where they would legally purchase guns from local dealers in Tennessee and Kentucky, prosecutors charged. The soldiers are accused of selling them to members of the Gangster Disciples street gang in the Pocket Town neighborhood on Chicago's south side, according to the 21-count indictment.

The indictment charges the group with conspiring to violate federal firearms laws, among other crimes. If convicted, the defendants face up to 20 years in prison....

A Gun can LAY in PLACE FOREVER. Collecting Dust.

Then STUPIDITY Enters The Space.

The Hand of STUPID Picks Up the HARMLESS RESTING GUN

and Then......

Example from a Recent STUPID: One of Most Famous Person in World - and SUPER Intelligent - I Presume - Picks Up Gun - Points - Pulls Trigger - and......DEATH. A STUPID Moment or a STUPID Person. Or Both?

Or Should I Use da Word - MORON?

Yep

Study finds higher homicide risk in homes with handguns
NEW YORK (AP) — Most U.S. gun owners say they own firearms to protect themselves and their loved ones, surveys show. But a study published Monday suggests people who live with handgun owners are shot to death at a higher rate than those who don’t have such weapons at home.

We found zero evidence of any kind of protective effects” from living in a home with a handgun, said David Studdert, a Stanford University researcher who was the lead author of the Annals of Internal Medicine study.

Just another young life snuffed out.

Boy, 3, Dies After Shooting Himself With Gun.

Why are these things being left lying around where kids can get at them?

Because many think that it is an act of stupidity to pick up a handgun that is lying around. Maybe for an adult. But for a three year old who is inquisitive or thinks it looks the same as a toy, to pick it up is not stupidity, it's a normal response.
The act of stupidity is the by the adult who leaves the firearm lying about, where it can be picked by anyone, a child, a visitor, maybe one who is having an argument with the owner, or even a criminal who has entered illegally.

I see one of the shooters in Sacramento was charged with having a machine gun. Those are illegal everywhere; so how did he get it? In fact, how did he - and his brother - get any guns since they are prohibited persons?

The illegal arms trade in America is, sadly, alive and well. Indeed most countries have such a trade, but it appears to be thriving more in the USA than most others.

One has to wonder, masks came off and it seems as if the killing has gone up.
1) It is people who would not go out in a mask before?
2) People are being more nasty without a mask between them?
3) Did only good kind people die from Covid?
4) ??
