Correct. But since it is only a few individuals out of 300 Million...
Yes. Why bother.
After all more about one million dies per year in the trafic globally.
Yes. There are more things that are more dangerous to us people than mass shootings.

moomin...
Since out of our population of over 300 million. Only and handful will ever engage in non terrorist related mass shootings. And ordinary' criminals do not obey the law.
Europe has a population over 750 million.
The EU has about 512 million.
Still no mass shootings like in the US.
Anders Breivik in Norway is of course an exception and it was a terrorist action.
I suppose Charly Hebdo or the Bataclan massacre skipped your mind, eh moomin?

And Nice in 2016 should be an example that firearms are not required for mass casualty counts(86 dead 458 injured, sounds remarkably close to the Las Vegas numbers, with just one truck).

Crazies whether terrorists or 'run of the mill' variety will find a way, and adequate defense against crazies must be allowed every person(the majority American viewpoint).

State Sponsored. When a state Army is the attacker, it isn't a police gun/control matter.

And I can't forget Bataclan, a victim came to where I work.

Yes. Many of "We the people" suffer from mental illness and disorders.
Approximately 1 in 5 adults in every country.
Most of the illnesses and disorders doesn't mean that you are disqualified to bear arms.
But for instance having a depression.
Some are obviously having that sometimes in their life but who and how can you tell?
Strange that a country still have a constitution that doesn't allow further restrictions to guns.

Why exactly is that strange?
And what exactly do YOU suggest is the solution short of saying 'since bobby can't play nice with the crayons we're taking ALL the crayons away from EVERYONE......that'll learn ya'........

I find it very disturbing when a country still discussing a text about 250 years old with comma problems and trying to figure out what your forfathers meant.
I suggest you should rephrase the 2'nd amendment to the 21 centuary.
Every other countries does it. Why not the US?

Because it upsets the living fossils. ;-)

The problem is not with the '250 year old text' it's with those who wish to interpret 'the meaning' to fit their own view of reality. Those that argue semantics and punctuation are unwilling to believe the 2nd Amendment means exactly what it says. That the Founding Fathers meant exactly what they wrote. This has been ratified and enacted and upheld by SCOTUS and is 'settled law'.

Every other countries does it. Why not the US?

As is a popular saying among parents here "If all the others jump off a cliff are you dumb enough to follow them?"

The opinion and the actions of 'every other country' are their own. They are NOT the US.

We are the US and WE will continue to go about OUR business in OUR OWN way.

Get over it, accept it or not makes no difference to US.

Ah but it does. The youth of today are tomorrows future & your youth are fed up of school massacres all because some living fossils love a 243 old piece of toilet paper which is too "sacred" for them to update to the 21st century.

Many mass shootings in the US take place in US schools.
There are many exchange students from other countries studying in the US.
Are they told how dangerous it could be to attend classes in the US?

Are the youth of EU informed how dangerous concerts in France and England are?

Do a 'head count of how many deaths by gun in US schools vs just Bataclan......

......a body bag looks identical in both venues.....

The question can be viewed as 'why don't you lot stop the rampant concert murders'......

Stones and glass houses........

Since the USA is a gun culture and any attempt to confiscate 100's of millions of guns from those persons possessing these guns is doomed to failure.
Another false statement. Who on here has said that? All I can see is many asking you to get your "gun culture" under control. What is so difficult that you cannot understand that?

What does YOUR personal opinion have to do with AMERICAN gun laws?

And that's right.........terrorists used tomatoes didn't they.....not the 'banned firearms', that they have no access to in your idyllic society.

Not so much. Both have an explosive and shrapnel. Difference it there is only one piece of shrapnel in the case of a firearm.
