Catfish smashes into car windshield after getting dropped by flying bird

... He said he was “blown away” by the amount of damage that the catfish inflicted on the windshield.

This is why %$$#%@'s shouldn't be allowed to drive motorised vehicles.

Man clings to bull bar of fast-moving 4WD for 3km through Western Sydney.
A man has been charged with road rage offences after another man was forced to cling onto the bull bar of a fast-moving four-wheel-drive vehicle for 3 kilometres through Western Sydney.

The men were involved in a minor collision between a Toyota LandCruiser and a Camry sedan on Centenary Drive at Homebush on Christmas Day.
It is believed the pair got into an argument while exchanging licence details.
The 37-year-old driver of the Camry then grabbed hold of the front bull bar of the other man's LandCruiser, with the latter driving off. The 45-year-old 4WD owner continued driving down the road for 3 kilometres — at least part of the time at high speed — with the other man struggling to hang on.

Tumbleweed invasion traps cars and truck on US highway – video
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/video/2020/jan/02/tumbleweed-invasion-traps-cars-and-truck-on-us-highway-video
Drivers in Washington state were forced to see in the new year while trapped under a 15ft-high (4.5m) sea of tumbleweeds. Police closed state route 240 near Richland at around 6.30pm on New Year's Eve after the desiccated but mobile plants buried a number of vehicles in their path. It took snow ploughs 10 hours to clear the weeds

Rode on Trolley busses in Wellington NZ many years ago. Apparently there were 2 periods of operation- 1924 until 1932 and again from 1949 until 2017.

Have to agree with the police on this - it beggars belief.

As one who's fiance was killed by a drunken lorry driver you can imagine what punishment I feel this driver should have.....

Jet dumps fuel that lands on schoolkids near Los Angeles
An airliner with engine trouble dumped jet fuel that fell as a smelly mist on dozens of schoolchildren while the plane made an emergency return to Los Angeles International Airport, officials said.

Will have to wait for the FAA's investigation to find out why the fuel was 'dumped, at low altitude and over populated area instead of rural or remote area.

Pilot mistake. What is far worse is the plane departed over the Pacific Ocean heading west. Pilot declared emergency and asked to return to land. I suspect it wasn't until he was over the Los Angeles Basin he realized he had to dump fuel. Of course good flight planning he would have known that before he even started down the runway. Pilot competency is not where it should be.

Sometimes some emergencies are more urgent than others.
Will have to wait for the final report on this one.

Radio calls between the pilot and ground. Pilot states compressor stall. Also states it is "under control" and "not critical." Ground asked twice if he needed to burn fuel or dump. Pilot answers no. Then he was vectored for an immediate return.

DFW Airport police use Taser on unruly traveler, but still need help from others to control him

The incident turned into a wrestling match in the middle of a terminal.

Police say this all started with the report of a man shoving an airline employee.

... An officer deployed his Taser, hitting (the offender).

Video then shows the man running toward the other officer, tackling him.

“So they were wrestling, it was a pretty surreal scene. And I’m not sure which cop yelled, ‘I think he’s going for my gun.’ I think it was the younger cop,’” Huston recalled.

I'm going to say Denis wasn't that bad, certainly not here or as shown in this picture

A P&O passenger ferry leaves the Port of Dover in Dover, south east England, bound for France

I remember on one occasion in the early 70's being stuck outside Dover Harbour on a ferry, with no ships going in or out for about 4 hours because of the wind and sea conditions.
