It's interesting because it's sort of based in space. Production wise it's one of the better SyFy projects. It does my head in a bit though with the warbling accents. I mean are the mining belters really from the Velt? Is that a sowt afRicaana accent? Is there a political edge about diamond miners here? I keep expecting Chappie to jump out at any moment. I live in hope to see a series about two planets coliding and our planetry DNA combining and we all end up as Dutch speaking cucumbers.. (.. and yes a large proportion of the UK's cucumbers come from Dutch poly-tunnels...) .. Perhaps it's already happening! And no SyFy you are not allowed to use my cucumber idea.... Bless SyFy. It produces some real rubbish and then it creates some gems.. and it also produces some questionable media... but then... you have to love them for their willingness to create without care. Crud or Jewel. Hate or love em. Respect SyFy. |
