Me, I support St Anthony's efforts in San Francisco California.

California Hunger Action Day is Wednesday May 24, 2017. On this day, advocates from around California come to the capitol in Sacramento to talk to our legislators about hunger and to support legislation and a fair state budget that addresses hunger and poverty.

You can be a part of Hunger Action Day even if you can't join us in Sacramento. Email your state representatives and ask them to support anti-hunger legislation and budget initiatives that will be before them within the next few weeks.

Our anti-hunger priorities this year include:

* Responding to hunger & poverty among low-income seniors and people living with disabilities by increasing SSI/SSP grants.

* Passing a fair state budget that addresses hunger & poverty.

* Support an ongoing investment in CalFood, California's emergency food program, which allows food banks to purchase California-grown produce for distribution to pantries and meal programs across the state.

Little Sleazers is pizza in name only. It's crap.

I use Pizza Hut as my basis for comparison, not because it's good, but because it's a familiar and fairly consistent baseline. Almost every national chain falls below it. For decent pizza, you need to go to an independent joint or maybe a small local chain.

I buy frozen pizzas, sometimes the cheapest thing there is and sometimes a little better, and enhance it with more cheese (mostly mozzarella but also some provolone and a little fresh-in-a-little-ziptop-bag (as opposed to the dry stuff in the can) parmesan. I also add some meat, usually bacon (American, from the belly) and more sausage. I don't go for veggies except occasionally onion (if I plan to be home the next day) and never anything that lived in the water -- I had one small piece of shrimp pizza once and vowed never again. Bacon really needs to be precooked; the rest of the pizza will burn before raw bacon cooks, and it adds a lot of grease.

I won't even (for the moment) get into the whole Chicago deep dish thing.

No indys out here, unless one considers the motel diner or Peggy Sues 50's Diner an Indy. In Barstow they have Rt66 Pizza.

Little Caesars, Pizza Hutt, Domino's, Round Table, and Red Baron's, are all in Barstow, no delivery from any listed in this post, you go and fetch it yourself.

I may as well use some gas, and bake one Myself, at least I can still cook.

Yeah, I suppose if you live in a rural place, the selection will be slim.

Red Baron doesn't exist around here except in the grocery store freezer. Don't even know Round Table.

We're getting a Candy store and gas station soon w/26 pumps at Calico Rd, if one has a Tesla one can get a charge there too.

Rumor said Starbucks, Me I'd rather have Domino's, the Subway is down in the Shell station at Ghost Town Rd, as is the Dairy Queen, the Shell station is popular, but not for the gasoline.

Anti gas pills work if one needs them. I've got a small supply.

So you need drugs to be capable eating food in the US?
What has the FDA has to say about that?
Just kidding.
The "Drug" part in FDA regulations is the norm even in the EU.
Been there. Read that in manufacturing drugs...

Rural areas? I can't get anything food delivered out here. I have to go to them. For pizza it is a 20 to 25 minute drive doing 65 mph 3/4th of the way there.

Some years ago a friend took early retirement from her job in a large corporate organisation.
She got bored, and having a motorbike in the garage, she decided to get a job as a pizza delivery girl. Living right on the edge of London, and with fields all around, she was given the "long runs" which were costing the firm a lot of late delivery charges. Her bike matched her gun-metal coloured leathers and was a little more powerful that the average used by the kids - a Kawasaki 1100!!! No more late deliveries and some very bemused customers. (I don't think all her delivery runs were at "legal" speeds....)

I had a Suzuki GS1150ES, a 1984 model, so yeah, I know how come She was able to get rid of the late deliveries, lots of torque or power, best hold on tight, since launching from a stop light can be under very heavy acceleration, depending on how the throttle is twisted back, with the right rider, an 1150 could do the 1/4 in about 10 seconds, an awesome bike.

Eat your heart out Mark Sattler, I did 125mph on one once, that bikes top end is 140mph.
