Tail Fins!

Oh, I guess there is something else in the picture.

It looks so.... 50s.

(I know, it's actually 60s, but it looks 50s.)

Still yawn ping.

This is online now, the museum is asking for help in restoring the 11' model of the USS Enterprise.

The museum is seeking to restore the 11-foot long studio model of the starship Enterprise seen in the original '60s TV series. The model is on display in Chantilly, Virginia, at the museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

Museum officials are looking for "firsthand, pre-1976 images or film" of the original studio model of the USS Enterprise.

That picture taken in frot of Volmer Jensen's model shop, on Providencia Avenue in Burbank. Driven by there many times. Pretty sure it was taken on December 29, 1964. Here is picture of the guys who built it. Same background.

Wow, 49 years since the airing of the first episode. I just started to feel a lot older.

I just got back from TWC in Barstow, the temp there is 102F, here the temp is 99F, I had to exchange the HD tv box, I'd turned the box off like normal last night, today the box would not respond to the remote, so after I got home I connected everything to the new box and it was the old box, it was as I thought, dead. I also found out My internet speed was set at 10/1, instead of 15/1, so I fixed that for another $10 a month, turbo is now in effect, 20/2 and I was told by another source that I am in a MAXX area, so I'm due for bigger speedup, when? Soon is all I know, though one source did say October, but I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Of course I'll have to buy a newer Netgear router, since the MAXX speed upgrade will max out My current router which has a 100Mb ceiling, I'm looking at a Netgear WNDR4000 router, which is gigabit capable(just like the modem, My cat6 cables and the ethernet port on My PC are), there goes about another $31 or so.

Unfortunately, it looks like the building is gone now.

I'm trying to remember part of a song I heard today, from an oldies station, it's on the edge of My memory, maybe it'll come to Me sometime.

Another late-night pass for a win.
Still 80F outside at 2300 local.
Forecast low 70F. but High of only 97F.
Still too warm to sleep well without a cold shower....

If I had a clue, I'd know. But thanks Mark.
